As a real Star Trek fan from way back, and being one of the older people on here who used to have to tune in the UHF channels on the TV in order to see every episode at 11:00pm on a Saturday night or what ever odd hour it would play. Back before VCRs or DVRs for that matter. I am happy to say that they brought some of the magic of the Orginal Series back to modern times. I am a fan of all of the series and a fan of Science Fiction in general. This is just a great movie. I found that even if you are not a fan or someone who has to know everything about Star Trek to enjoy the moive. It's a rebirth, they explain everything to you. It reminds me of Superman Returns in style and revision. I would personally recomend everyone to see this movie. It's not just because I am a fan and because Star Trek is part of my life. It's just a good movie and well done. I am not going to give anything away but they really change a lot of things up. It is not your fathers Star Trek is a good line but I also feel that at the same time it is.
I'm not really in these kind of scifi movies, I only like Star wars and Star trek because both settings appeal to me (for different reasons). And because I've grown up with TNG and Voyager I guess that style feels most special to me. I'm pretty curious about this movie, didn't really liked Nemesis to be honest. But this one sounds good
Oh, I get it, he was saying just because you were a Star Trek fan that you are a geek that might not know any girls....... Hate to break it to you but when the say the Meek Shall Inherit the Earth they ment the Geek Shall Inherit the Earth. Richest Man, Bill Gates....all I am saying.
yeah but I wonder how much of the puss he gets that he doesnt pay for I wouldnt want to have that much money...life wouldnt be fun anymore
Yeah. I don't know about the puss but I am sure if he wanted it that would not be a problem. As for the money, I would not kick it out of bed and after the first billion who is really counting.
yeah but then money would have no real value, then possesions would have no real value...then life would start to lose its value...for me anyway. So long as I have enough to keep me fed and watered I could happily live as a hermit in some forest which ironically is exactly what i'll be doing in 3 weeks time
....I'm so damn tempted to see it now. I was watching the local news and one of the reporters was there at the opening at a new theatre were it's being premiered. He was all dressed up and so were half of the other people.
I'm heading out right now to see it. Woo hoo!!! Edit: That's the best Star Trek movie I've ever seen bar none. Wow.
Just saw it last weekend. Great movie. Extremely well done and entertaining. Anything J.J. Abrams does is always fun
