    Eww bass ale is disgusting.
Newcastle is ok. Probably just because this bar where I used to live had $1 newcastles on wednesdays, and I got used to it.
But then again I don't claim to have a refined taste in beer.

Preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeecisely, I spent 5 days sitting in Starbucks, I didn't go in for a cup of coffee.

I disagree, I rather enjoy a strong Earl Grey with some milk.

There's a Disneyland in Paris, bro.

Actually, I made this thread about the ridiculous names of the coffee sizes. Small = tall?..

Starbucks coffee is made out of cheap Guatemalan beans that are mass-grown. I actually know the family that owns the plantation that supplies some of the beans.

Real coffee is made out of hand-selected beans that are grown in small batches and taken care of.

    Let us use this analogy...

Starbucks beans are schwag, while real coffee is dank. Kinda the same thing...

Plus Starbucks waters down their coffee to fit American taste buds. It's next to tasteless.

I'm not as much as a coffee drinker as I am tea, but I've been to a lot of little places that do coffee I've considered better.

For starters, Starbucks coffee is always luke warm. It may be a coffee-lover-faux-pa but I like hot coffee.

Considering they will give you a choice about everything from the drink's height to it's favourite colour, you would think they could manage to serve it at the temerature I like.

Also, British Beer walks all over American beer. Try getting an ale or a bitter in the states. A fools errand

maybe for you it is tasteless, but the reason why Starbucks is still in business is because many people like it. so i guess Starbucks taste good to the people of america and where ever else Starbucks exists.

although the cappuccino i had in italy was the best i ever had, starbucks wins for its most diverse use of coffee ranging from a latte to a frappicino to there iced tea.

im going to go ahead and say dunkin donuts coffee beans are probably worse of than starbucks... and mcdonalds...im sure they dont have the best quality coffee as well.

The reason Britney Spears is famous is because people like her.

The general public has no sense of quality and are complete idiots.

    Don't join the masses now.

i like coffee from a few local places... otherwise i don't drink it. starbucks is truly foul.

and earl gray is the only tea in which milk/sugar is acceptable.

on another note, does anyone here drink yerba matte?

Starbucks did have a huge hand in making the coffee shop happen. They were great in the beginning in the US

Hello, my name is Aaron and I am a totally incorrigible caffeine addict.

    Yerba mate yessssssssssss...

I want to mix yerba mate with a double shot of expresso and top it with a bottle of 5 hour energy. I'm hellbound to give myself a massive myocardial one day.

I went to the first Starbucks in the early 80s, other than a few restaurants it was next to impossible to find a cup of coffee in Seattle of that caliber.

    Never consumed Starbucks.

But I have sat inside them for hours with a beret and a Mac laptop while staring at everyone. I think that's the same thing.

Well, by Pavel's definition, I probably haven't had real coffee but I find Starbucks lattes to be rather divine, and I don't usually drink latte.
