me too. That is just because I was keeping them in these little buns to keep them out of the way. I would <3 if they just stayed that way! haha.
Mine are like that just from having curly hair....In some places it is because they are looser, but some of my tightest are the most squiggly.... Maybe I will stay like that!
good luck on your dreadlock journey. it's a fun one to take,i've had dreads for 2 years gonna be 3 years in november.
cute pics. to whoever was thinking about perming before locking, think about how different the new growth would look.
here is with the whole thing back combed and twisted into a tiny bun and then taken down (no palm rolling or anything) I then took a crochet hook to it to pull the look hairs in and tighten it a bit. Please dont flame me. Hahha. This is day 2. Right after I woke up this morning.
Yea, I havent touched them since, but to wash them. So I am letting them go on their own from here on out. Here is from today: I have heard that aloe is a good way to deal with the stray hairs. Is this a widely accepted consensus?
aloe is fine to use. It made my dreads look a bit flat and lame though, but I piled it on so uhhuh idk. they look good to mee
Couple updates. Not much has happened in 2 weeks, except I touched up the black. These were taken before I dyed them yesterday.
very pretty!! they are going to be amazing on you. weird but with your coloring and specs and labret.. you look like chaos. am I the only one who sees it??
*not a bad thing!* also b_sarcasm. I used a crochet hook on one of my dreads to see what the fuss was about and the results were nice at first but ultimately I don't like how that dread looks compared to the others. I think crocheting is for people who are willing to crochet frequently to "maintain" and who don't like loose hairs/want a uniform look. which I have realized I am not into.. but of course it's all up to you and how much control you want over your lockz
