I created my account, disappeared for almost 2 years, then came back a few months ago

 

I was a regular here from about 2002. I hung around for about 2 or 3 years then left for a couple.

lol olhippie my dad is a year younger than you and never calls himself old. He is completely sure his life is only half over.. it's adorable but I admire his attitude. You're only as old as you want to be

 

my dad's 3 years older than olhippie and to listen to him talk you'd think he's 75...

 

I joke about being old, but I rarely think of myself that way. I admit my body aches a bit more. When I see people around my age I sometimes look at them as old then it hits me, "Hey, I'm there age!".

 

That's a good feeling I want to be able to look at the old farts around me and be like damn, those fools look old. I'm doing alright
