What can I say! I never truely met freedom, but wish to. i am glad to hear my poem touched you like that. it makes me feel....gratitude toward my skill that i don't give much credit to.
You must not force your talent. It must come on it's own accord. Respect it, and it will bring you ancient treasures of beautiful creative energy.
that last post got me thinking.... i took a poetry class and we had a few poets come in and read some of their stuff, then answer questions. one girl's poetry stuck out to me, and i LOVED it, much more than the others. after talking with her, it turned out she doesn't get "inspired" all the time like some ppl do, but has to give herself assignments and they typically take a long time. talent isn't necessarily something that just comes at you when it wants to. you can achieve something great (in art) through hard work too and not just... divine inspiration.
Thats true to! I have a jar w/ paper in it that have a start of a story that I some times use to write whatever, but rarely use iit. maybe i should.
I have to jump in and say Otter your works are beautiful, I am most partial to the succulents. Love the Aloe. Super talented and well spoken. I vote we throw the canvas to side and use live bodies as a painting surface. Mobile festival canvas!
ps..i just had a awesome little vision of the Blue Wolf weaving through the pines of Ocala.... Perhaps she could be conjured there in a drum circle one night.
Ocal is still up in the air for us. Though the idea of conjuring the blue wolf with you is irresistable. We are prepping for a big festi vending season. Though we will be camping in the area in 2weeks. Might have to ravel that way. Lots of wolves in FL forests hope you catch their glimpse.
Goodluck! Become the five elements, and she will come....put trust in her, so she comes...if you are brave go in the nude....best results....don't hold back.....become mystic princess form of Mother Earth.....I promise send my spirit form for you, and I will dance with you in my mind.
