I dont really think people would care that it is "unconstitutional to leave the US", I mean they are trying to leave so why would that truly affect them? As far as race goes, it has nothing to do with why I disagree with Obama, I simply dont like what has happened to our country the last 4 years, everyone is in deeper poverty than they were before. Actually, white people are discriminated against just as much as any other race. White people are a minority in a lot of places now.

What would you have done any better/different if you inherited an already failing economy, a very unpopular war, a global dislike for the nation brought about by the actions of PREVIOUS presidents, etc., etc. and huge opposition from every corner based not on your politics, but on the color of your skin.

I'm no Obama fan-boy, but when EVERYTHING is taken into consideration, he ain't doing that bad.

So again I ask you, what would you have done any better.

I swear it really is annoying and shows absolutely NO intelligence WHATSOEVER when people lay all the nations problems at the feet of the current president as if by magic they are now the cause of all those problems.

Then we have all these clueless morons who act as if Obama should be able to wave a magic wand and fix it all, but because that is impossible, these assholes lay the blame for everything at his feet.

I never said obama was to hold all the blame but why would you want someone in office when they have done absolutely nothing to help the nation? he has spent more of the tax posters money than any othet president before him, he spent his first 3 years doing nothing much except vacationing. no I dont just blame him but I think people that do nothing to help should be gone.

Me too, Mel. I sometimes (too often - ha) make mistakes "scanning". (yes, that is what we'll call it.) So I made myself read it several times to make sure! I still can't believe it. I cannot imagine being made to feel like I should lie (which I assure you I HAVE) about my education in any state more than I do here. In fact, that is when I've gotten called back for interviews/jobs...when I lied.

he certainly has not been doing nothing much except vacationing. there's no grounds for that accusation at all

what you are implying here is that political questions are not legitimate subjects of debate, but rather that there are "politically correct" answers; that those who dissent from the leftist sense of orthodoxy are simply ignorant, they "just don't get it".


what if in fact republicans were on average more educated than democrats?


should we conclude that republican political opinions and policies are correct, or should we conclude that people regardless of their education or wealth have a tendency to promote their own self-interests and values?

if you want to shoot down republican policies, you need to site reasons rather than make ad hominem attacks

there's plenty of ammunition out there to criticize republican policies, you don't need to resort to this sort of thing
