Only because of the failure of the majority to accept different beliefs/customs/ideas etc. as what they are, instead of relying on the idea of "anything that's different is wrong". Among Good Company of any race, religion, creed...this that or the other, Oppression and Racism are irrelevant.

I, on the other hand, love everyone. Standing up and screaming "Look at me, I'm black and I'm oppressed" only makes you an attention whore. We know there is racism in the world. Some of us don't practice it. Constantly pointing out the faults of the senseless few doesn't fix the problem.

This thread is complete bullshit. Just yesterday MaryJ was complaining about unfairness to white people.

There are people who definitely parade their oppression and can't think of nothing else. But what is so wrong about pointing out that women earn 89 cents for every dollar a man makes (or whatever that figure is)?

Racism is statistic. If it makes Zoomie so insecure that he takes a systemic problem personally, that's not going to stop people from raising the issue until it's resolved in full.
