I agree completely with tns about the being more cautious, thus being more safer. But on the other hand, with me personally, being high makes it feel like more of a game and makes me wanna go be more daring too, so its not always the best in my case. Even when im high as fuck i know its all real, so thats all u can focus on is everything you do is gonna cause a real life action that YOU are responsible for.
There's lots of influences. If you can't drive better under the influence of pot, you really suck at life. Same goes for ritilan, piracetam, and a host of other nootropic drugs. I expect you've never driven without the aid of oxygen and sugar, two of the most important drugs there are. People who unquestioningly live "above the influence", or think that sort of silly categorization of chemicals the government doesn't like has anything to do with reality are beyond ridiculous.
I'm simply speaking on my personal experience; specifically, my experience with marijuana. Every substance affects everyone differently and it's very ignorant of you to presume to know how I drive when I'm stoned. I got better grades in school when I was stoned too and scored in the 95th percentile of my state's graduates(while stoned), bordering on genius. Is THAT ridiculous? Again, I emphasize......every drug, no matter how mild or intense, whether it be caffeine or heroin, affects everyone differently. I'd wager that some people shouldn't drive after drinking an energy drink or a strong cup of coffee.
as Roor Pointed out. Would you drive if you didnt have sugar?.. Some Diabetics could be more dangerous than any drunk or stoner on the road...
diversity is life. thoughtlessness is thoughtlessness. self deception is self deception. the problem isn't mind altering substances (though they have problems enough of their own too), the problem is lack of sufficient and adiquite alternatives to being economically coerced into indenturing one's self to an automobile. no one 'should' ever 'have to' drive, stoned OR sober, at all. there's this thing called responsibility. it comes from still having to live in the same kind of world we all of us together create for each other. i doubt very much the next life or the one after that is any different from that being the reality of it. it's not about being "wrong". its about not fucking everything up for yourself by fucking everything up for everyone else. and it makes no sense to distinguish one source of emparement from another. fatigue falls into that same catigory too. the only safe way to recreationally consume mind altering substances, is when one ISN"T going to "have to" opperate dangerous, life threatining machinery, like automobiles. preferably by locking yourself into a padded room where you won't be able to hurt anyone else until it wears off either.
Well, don't know about locking yourself in hehe, but I agree people have a responsability on the road and when lots of other people driving it seems better to stay above this particular influence. Yeah, of course there are exceptions in every department and yeah, you can do it if you want if you think you can but if you get pulled over and they notice you are stoned it's solely your own fault.
Hah, and if you don't have anything on you, what are they going to do? Don't consent to any searches. If you're high you can pass any field sobriety test with NO problem, simply don't surrender blood, saliva, urine, or hair.
The only thing that the ignorant folks need to take from this thread is that marijuana affects everyone differently. Some people can drive perfectly fine when they're stoned while others can't. It's definitely not for everyone.
You don't know what I should or shouldn't do. I'm tired of repeating myself, but like I keep saying, everyone is affected differently by marijuana and it's not a black and white subject.
As I pointed out before, there's so much ridiculous going on with the statement "I do so much better at x when I'm stoned." I imagine you and those alike aren't familiar with the placebo effect. Choosing to drive under the influence of drugs is very selfish, and I really do hope nobody falls victim to it.
You need to improve your reading comprehension skills. EVERYONE REACTS DIFFERENTLY. This has nothing to do with driving stoned, but as I said in the post you quoted, I did better in school when I was stoned, and my teachers even realized I did better when I was stoned. I was failing every class before I started going to class stoned, and I mean EVERY class, including physical education. All F's. WHen I started going to class stoned, I started getting straight A's and B's. It improves my concentration tenfold. I have ADHD though, and there have been studies that suggest marijuana is an effective treatment for ADD/ADHD. Again, I'm gonna repeat myself, EVERYONE REACTS DIFFERENTLY. I'm not saying everyone should drive while stoned or that they'd do better in school while stoned, but it works for me, and you're not gonna convince me otherwise.
How am I supposed to retort to that?! Fuck, I'm glad I'm not 20 any longer. Hopefully, with some time, you'll understand. If not, well, I'm sure you have a beautiful feature in front of you.
I imagine you never made it to a psych class, as mentioned previously in reference to the placebo. Out of consideration for you, don't bother replying back to me with anything longer than a sentence or two, as that's pretty much all I ever read of your ramblings. RooRshack, this guy right here is what I am referencing to in regards to a beautiful future. Choose wisely.

I know plenty about placebo affect. If you would read more than a couple of sentences in my posts, you might actually learn something. You seem to be a very closed-minded and ignorant individual, and I honestly feel sorry for you. Also, just so you know, every auto accident that I was responsible for, I was completely sober at the time.
