My cousin had his leg amputated due to alcoholism yesterday. I did not know that was possible but guess it is if you have terrible nutrition. Like you never eat so you can drink kind of thing and eventually it adds up.

I had not seen him since he dropped out of high school years ago. Sad day.

 

That sucks man. There is a disease that I forget the name of that is basically alcohol-induced diabetes, so I could see that happening. My buddies dad died from that recently. Addiction sucks.

 

Yeah hope he gets better. I feel lucky to have never really liked beer.

 

Maybe it'll be a wake up call for him, at least?

 

When my dad got cirrhosis the whole bottom half of his body filled up with water. It was miserable to see.
