just trying to get stuff done. my dad wants to be out of his house by end of march, so we are trying to plan logistics to get the big furniture out, and the attic boxes. hopefully we can get everything done before end of february.
that and i have to get hubby to straighten out our healthcare stuff so i can get to a doctor. i really dont want to start seeing a doc who wont be covered if i can avoid it.

 

As someone who's been on both sides of the fence when it comes to internet bullying, being the one who bully's and being the one who is being bullied I think I've matured just a little bit and have my own thoughts about it.

Its fine to argue with someone over something, putting down an idea or a view isn't such a big deal but when you put the individual down on a personal level I think that's where it crosses the line because I know first hand that it's not fun to sign onto HF knowing you're going to have to fight and battle and be put down.

Its come to the point where I'm often too afraid to sign in sometimes because I know I've left a comment on a certain subject and I know damn well I'm going to be torn to shreds about it. I no longer look at myself as a bully though (just a crafty lil Imp) I may put down the idea like, I might tease your sports team or country or a TV show or Something, but I don't actually try and put anyone Down for liking those things that I don't, that's just what makes you you and individual, but I still think it's okay to poke fun at them in a playful way and I mean at the end of the day I really don't care what football team you go for, what music you listen to, where you stand with politics or what TV shows you watch.

The only person I remember actually belittling was Broony and he deserved it 100% plain and simple, talking about raping my wife and such and maybe anakin, but truth be told he attacks me on personal levels all the time anyway.

So, yeah. No one wants to come to HF when they wake up and have to defend who they are and what they do and/or why they do what they do etc. I can try and be a better person too.

 

I dont know how the cockroach lives so long washing its hair is bug spray.. shit stinks, burns my eyes, no fragrances in this house rule dont apply to assholes.

 

I've never thought of you as mean or a bully on here. You speak your mind, sure, but you certainly aren't cruel--you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

 

Thanks YFM. I was just being honest about myself, I know there's been times when I have probably gone off the rails and said some things to people I wish I could take back. Whether that was just heat of the moment or my passion being reflected I don't know, but still no excuse.

I think the good thing is nearly everybody I've had a problem with at least on HF I've ended up being quite close to now, not every one but a lot of them.

Kinda of like how a boy teases a girl because he likes her, I look at myself the same way, if I'm poking fun at you and teasing you it means I want the interaction from you and that I like you and that I'm already expecting the conflicting answer response from you and I'm waiting here grinning from ear to ear for that response so we can converse and have fun hehe.

I can see that. I feel like you have really "evolved" as a poster here in the past few years. I used to not get you, but now I really appreciate your personality and your posts.
