dang @Irminsul that just makes me so, I don't know...sad that you have such a problem...and for you, too @eggsprog.

I certainly can't speak for everyone, @Orison...but I had a lot more going on than minor muscle tension. I was just extremely lucky (for once in my life) to hook up with an excellent acupuncturist in my 20's...he showed me the x-ray of my back, and he didn't even have to point out where (all) my spine is curved and well, fucked up. It is at the top of my back to about the middle, but above my waist. Again, I'm lucky in that I've always been a very active person (until the last several years, when I've been on fairly constant babysitting duty :frowning:). My first acupuncturist told me that - the fact that I've made myself remain active and not lay around - was no doubt what saved my back from freezing up and/or having problems. The severe hurting problems only started when I got a desk job.

I can see (these many years later) that when I stand up straight, my left side is definitely higher than my right side, and I can't say bend or crook my head to both sides the same. Before I swam into the side of that swimming pool, I could do a back bend...that's been a joke for oh, decades now.

Anyway...having 10 cats inside is about too damn many.

The feeling is mutual. It worked, I felt it work but I also found after my 4 sessions that, the pain came back 15mins later. I won't say it's not effective for other things but it wasn't going to work for me and so I didn't see the point in spending money on the treatment. The massages were good, but same again, pain comes back after 10 or 15mins.

Ill keep soldiering on like I always do. It was just this pinched nerve that did me in this time I've never felt anything like that. I can still feel it now but it's just like a ball of pain in my pelvis that radiates pain. And every bump on my back feels bruised, and that injection point...

    Haha.

Dang I hate that the massage and acupuncture didn't do anything for y'all after a while. I can feel my back wanting to yell out when I go to stand up straight after sitting at the computer or on the bed or where ever for a while. Actually I have quite a time straightening up...but I keep on until I do. I've been thinking about how I'm going to call my acupuncturist and ask for the set-up for 4 sessions. Its actually cheaper to go for the 4 sessions than it is to pay for each one individually. I like it and it seems to do well enough for me to know I'll want the 4 sessions once I start going back again.

Every single night, I use my long heating pad that goes from just below my neck to my butt, and I love it. For whatever reason, my room is colder than the other rooms, and that heating pad not only helps me out (with my back) but it also helps to warm me up in that cold ass room.

These cats are running up and down, back and forth through the living room and the kitchen. Sometimes cats will just get this weird look in their eyes and from that point - it is ON. Running, jumping, swinging at any moving thing.

So, I'm watching a group of crazy cats to match me, the crazy cat lady. lol

This time the police have gone too far in arresting Elsa from the Disney movie Frozen for bringing on the polar Vortex.

The Low temperature on Wednesday morning in Chicago could flirt with the all-time low of -27 F with windchill's approaching -50 F

"Elsa has been placed under arrest with NO BOND until further notice." said a police spokesman.
