2nd lap into practice, boss and I go 1-2 in speed, every other car gets off the track, most likely to watch and panic at wtf how did they do that on lap 2 they wouldn't have even been up to speed yet.
AND!!!! we held off my old team mates 2 car draft, broke away by 0.3sec and they couldn't run us down! so from a speed point of view, we are looking fantastic. Now just need hope we get the luck.

 

Bossman worried car is bottoming out a fraction too much. Says might be okay because we have raw speed but not sure whats going to happen when we get in a 30 car pack and go 10mph faster.

Halfway through qualifying, I'm in the lead! Most cars have done their laps so looking good! Now just hope my two team mates don't knock me off LOL

Boss beat me, Jaz blew engine. Looks like we are starting 1-2 for this race and the Daytona 500.

OMG! Race director says we finish first second, pack up go home for the day! We don't get to practice in the warm up race! That's fucking retarded!

Was supposed to get a package in the mail yesterday, but the mail wasn't delivered because of the weather.

Photo finish in the qual race 2 wrecks, our guy got caught up in the first one early but he will start from 9th on Sunday
Well that was great start to the season, I'm a little bummed I never won Pole, but 2nd is really good, I know where I lost the speed anyway it was coming off turn 2 I think I pulled too hard left to keep it on the bottom and scrubbed off some speed.

I guess the bad thing is since our guy ended in a wreck early and us two weren't allowed to race, we have no info on how our car will handle, but it seems fast to me

 

Now I want one.

 

It should be 12ºC on Saturday, so that will be fun.
