I just had to say this - I "liked" this post over and over and over (really at least 5 times), and the little black thing would act like it was going to reflect my like and it didn't. I find people (especially around here) are unreal in their expectations or non-expectations about people that are stoners (or edible eaters ) lol I agree the dude sounds cool...probably too cool for his uptight girlfriend.

About the other names - I think Kim is sooo feminine...but I've known guys named Kim also. I always wondered WTH were his parents thinking...or were they????

I find Toby to be masculine, but again I've known girls named that..

Now for the MOST POPULAR girl/boy names (and I really cannot express how stupid I find it to be, and how needless the child's torment should be over a name their stupid parents named them)...

There is the ever popular Jordan - both a boy's and a girl's name...right along with Taylor...both a boy's and girl's name. BOTH of which I find highly masculine...but you know, I've found many MANY mothers need to think they are special, and then name their child something "special" by giving them another gender's name.

And Joey, except Joey from Dawsons Creek because that suited her.

There seems to be diff stoners where I'm a stoner that likes to do things and go out and be stoned amongst the non stoned but then there's some that lock away in the basement type lol and he seems leaning towards the lock away type. But she is uptight you're quite right. It's like a Friday night let the man smoke his weed and watch conspiracy theories.

 

I used to know a guy named Lindsey. He's evidence that names can influence personality lol, he wasnt the most masculine of men.

My mom and my sister's middle names are Taylor. But in our case its an old family surname on my mom's side. And i've always liked the practice of using a maternal last name as a middle name. If I ever have a daughter her middle name will be my last name.

 

See...I totally understand using a middle name for whatever name you want to use...and Taylor being an old family name absolutely gives it validity, plus its their middle name! Going through school, and even later in life, one's middle name isn't usually known or used...unless the young person wants it that way.

Yeah - I actually know an old man (older than me lol) named Lindsey, and he is just a horrible person...an alcoholic that thinks living off of his children is the way to live, as well as judging everybody possible. He has managed to pass on this judgmental trait to his children (although he is white trash). Needless to say, I don't like him. His daughter is a Trump supporter, as is he...both work under the table and claim family members that do NOT live with them so they can get more and more food stamps. Of course my last sentence has nothing to do with anything...but his daughter has one of those names that have been appropriated for both boys and girls - Shannon. I think that is a feminine name, but she has the attitude of a mixture of a cobra and a rabid pitbull. She is married and definitely wears the pants in that family...her husband only gets to wear them to work, because she tells him he can.

I would probably feel better sooner if I stopped running, working out, drinking, and working too much so that I could actually rest.

 

Yes you need to rest and not exercise while you are sick. I know it sucks because it's routine now and you don't want to break that but you will recover much sooner.

 

I know --however, I never follow this advice. Luckily, I only get sick once every year and a half or so--and as long as I am not vomiting and have no fever, I just carry on as normal.

I don't mind coughing because it can work your abs out well.

 

I dont work out...but I also dont slow down if I have a boo boo or a tummy ache.....like the tin man....gotta keep moving

I am starting to get into lifting weights, but I haven't attempted benching yet. I will let you know .

Mostly, I love to hike and run and climb.

 

I used to be one who didnt slow down, but once I went camping with a sinus infection and in the cold winter air it worked its way into my lungs and turned into asthmatic bronchitis. Except I didnt realize it was asthma because that was a first. And I didnt want to ruin anyone's fun so I kept pushing myself, but almost passed out on a hike and finally a friend told me I was being an idiot and packed up my stuff and drove me to urgent care, where I learned I had been pushing myself through a 24 hour asthma attack and could have died

So long story short, I learned the importance of self care and always make myself slow down now when I get sick.
