when I was a kid my mom had to take some spaghetti and keep it away from the sauce because I would only eat it with butter and cheese....god forbid some sauce hit my plate...…

 

I like plain sketty ..

 

I make it for my son with just olive oil, parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper...which I realized is actually really good so sometimes if i'm feeling lazy I just do that for dinner instead of making a sauce

 

For me, making a sauce = opening a jar.

I have this oregano infused olive oil.

Pasta for me is usually a last minute "oh shit, forgot dinner and have to feed my kids" type thing haha. So speed is key.

 

Actually, I may plant some tomatoes this year and make a bunch of sauce.

 

My mom used to do that every year. We’d have jars and jars of it.
