You can just do it as a barre chord, if that makes it easier for you.

 

I suck at barre chords too lol

I guess the only path forward is to stop bitching and work on finger strength and flexibility

 

or a dropped tuning til you get better at it.

D Tuning is a cheaters blues tuning, id call it,, really brings the stings down and its not going to be so bright. 1/2 step might sound a little closer to standard to your ear.

Usually cm. Sometimes feet and inches though. When I worked in the flooring business, everything was in imperial because most of the products came from the US. Otherwise I'd probably always think in metric.
