I felt like it was time to come up with something to do to stop myself from going to bed. So, of course posting here is the answer! lol

On Saturday, my friend and I took Mama's 50+ yr old mattress and box springs to the dump, and moved the mattress and box springs from another room (my son's old room) into her room. It involved me doing a LOT Saturday morning to ready everything. After we put the new mattress and box springs in there, I put a new mattress pad on the mattress, and a new sheet set. I don't know what order she arranges her blankets and such, so I left it at that. It also occurred to me that I don't recall her EVER making up my bed...and I'm talking about NEVER EVER. Seriously...never.

I know she has dementia, but its not all that bad. At least I don't think so...my bff sees her every 2 weeks when she comes over on Thursday. For some reason that I fail to comprehend she (the bff) was about downright giddy when I told her I could tell Mama is getting worse....her more bizarre thinking used to begin around evening. Now its all the time, and it will be really odd things she will get obsessed about. The bff told me "I wondered if you were ever going to see that she has gotten worse," and some more equally strange to fucked up stuff. Good grief, it is no secret that Mama treated me like shit for years and years; but, honestly I thought bff's reaction to what I said quite fucked up.

Being noble is not all its cracked up to be.

Now I have some room in that ex-bedroom, which I'm quite certain will be taken up by my mess, I mean stuff and clothes soon.

That's all I got...well, that and the fact that when I get out this computer we (the computer and I) become the Most Interesting Things in the world!!! Why these cats are even under the impression they can help me type. smh These kittehs are wild as hell. I think they are cute until they start "playing" with the curtains, and then I get SERIOUS! I get out the water/spray bottle. lol

I'm so glad that hitting (or walking over) the enter key while I'm typing here in this box, does NOT enter anything.

Exactly the idea that an alley cat prowling around the trash cans in the rear of the Chinese restaurant would be incentive enough to include feline a la mode on the menu is pure nonsense

snowing there yet egg?

 

it snowed here 2days ago.. about 2/3 inch.. I didnt even bother shoveling walks because it would be 40F today,, its all gone and rain .

 

i'm bracing for another hit..my snow is mostly gone now

 

seen them many years ago, Amy is hot. but that was then, Id probably still do her but she can leave in the morning..

When I put the garbage out at 630am it was super calm. Felt like a storm was on the way.

 

sideways snow has started...coming straight at my front door out of the east...the worst kind of storm for me...expecting a foot

 

It was so windy walking back to the car from the gym that it took your breath away. It's the first time my son has ever been bothered by the weather - he started freaking out, I assume because it was hard to take a deep breath.

I usually walk to axe throwing so that I can smoke on the way and have a beer or two, but I don't think that's going to happen tonight, haha.
