Back in the stoned age I used to have one of these... (Much nicer than this random interwebs photo) Along with the Orange and Sound City half stack setup...



Sold it years ago. It's just a rotary 10 inch speaker in an oversized cabinet, limited to 25-30 watts if I remember correctly. So, you needed an amp to hook it to and it couldn't be your main amp if it was, say... 100 watts. SRV, Hendrix and many others used this one or the Fender "Vibrotone" version of the same thing.


Then they started to become "collectable"... So fuckall being able to buy one now in any condition.


So..... Enter this... (eBay find)





Same concept but with a 12 inch speaker, 100 watt amp, tube pre-amp and reverb built in. Even has a built in microphone for recording or to send to a PA system. I remember these from the NAMM show back in '92 or '93. (back when "Pat Shook") lol

The best part is they aren't "collectable" .... yet. Rare, but not collectable.

Shoot @Aerianne I hate hearing you talk smack about Jeff...my favorite driver ever. Just one more thing we totally disagree on it seems.

 

Also...why wouldn't the PM function not let me "Start a conversation" with someone when we've talked/pmed several times before.

Of course I figured out how to communicate...by opening another tab to this place, opening a previous conversation and copying/pasting....but that was such a waste of time.

With 10 laps to go the driver's aren't lifting off the throttle so they just bang into each other, if you lift of the throttle even for half a second it's game over.

That was the best Daytona 500 for several years up until the last 10 laps when everybody forgot how to drive.

Lame result. Not happy.

I was moving some stuff around awhile ago... As I was carrying a moderately large end table I tripped over some other shyt and twisted my right leg as I fell. Hurt like hell, right knee has been bad since October. Then it felt really fuckin weird... Then I put weight on it and was amazed I could stand... Now it feels better than it has for months.


Must'a done somethin' right.
