I lived in colorado, where they're a protected species. They'd land on the greenbelts/etc as they were passing through and harass people, steal food, chase squirrels, attack cars and just generally be a nuisance. I don't hate them entirely.. I did get a good laugh out of watching one chase my exwife around and trapping her in an atm booth. (wasn't funny at the time, but now that I dislike her, it's fucking hilarious.)

They do tend to get annoyed when you grab one and toss it over the rail into the creek. (the goose, and the policeman that saw it both.) bastard cobrachicken was lucky I didn't eat him.

also...it is us humans who are the nuisance...

    https://www.thewhig.com/news/local-...t-because-his-mother-threw-out-his-weed-booze

On Saturday at about 8 p.m. a man returned home to find that his alcohol and marijuana had been thrown out by his mother. The man had been told he was not allowed to use alcohol or drugs in the residence because of his behaviour.

Upset with his mother, who wasn’t home at the time, the man began screaming at a family member and then smashed a printer, a television, and punched multiple holes in a wall.

they are rather nice to look at, I'll give them that. and I will agree that humans are just as much of a nuisance. but the ones that hang around colorado act like seagulls. they raid dumpsters (or even just steal food out of your hands) and have learned they can attack pretty much anything without reprisal.. so they act like drunk frat-boys on spring break. I'd eat one on general principle.

its funny you think it is the birds fault or choice that they forage in the way you[and Faelixx] describe...they dont ''choose'' lol......maybe you need to see them 500 strong in a spent corn field being birds with out a bunch of morons feeding them people food at the playground or beach to appreciate them on a deeper level

close the dumpster for a start and leave the area if they are there.....it is a simple thing to not interfere with nature....i'm afraid of tigers but I dont think they are assholes because they eat an occasional villager in india :)...shit happens :)

I like ducks and I let the dog chase them at night when theyre on flocks. He learns a lot, to sneak and stalk.

He can't get one though. :p I don't think he'd know what to do if he did. :tearsofjoy:

MAJOR CRIMES: The Honorable Mayor of Hamilton NJ received a BAG OF DICKS... She has enlisted the help of her police department to investigate who sent this! Not just any cop either - she has a MAJOR CRIMES detective on it! As usual, we don't turn over the names of our customers unless we are compelled to by a court. The detective was cool by the way... go easy on him. DV6.

Some breeds are bred for a soft bite so they bring them back to their owner alive

Mine wouldn't soft bite. But I just think if he did get one it would start honking and flapping and he'd be like okay wtf. Then he'd step on it, tear it open I think. Or he could just be a big girl too.

See when he was a pup I took him walking to river and the angry ducks honked and had a go at him.

Like a hydraulic splitter? I'm considering a small one for home as splitting wood, better for my back.

Sweet I'll be keen to see it. :)
I really enjoy splitting wood I'm addicted to sound but it does hurt my back. :( I find myself having to sit on a stool.
