When asked to explain a Juggalo, ICP said

Well, you see when influence is everything at school you find some kids get up in the morning and look into the mirror and they want to be an athlete, so they dress up with the Nike and the tracksuits and they go off with the others playing sports.

Some kids looked in the mirror and they were Hip Hop so they dressed in the baggy pants and hung around their own peers into the same thing.

Metal heads looked in the mirror and adorned the black clothes and the long hair and spikes.
And so on with any influential genre.

But there were also a group of kids that woke up every morning and looked in the mirror and didn't know what they wanted to be perceived as. They didn't fit in anywhere. They're the Juggalos..

And I find that true, I was the same, I didn't fit in anywhere in school. I wasn't on the same levels as the others. I was a Juggalo I just didn't know it yet lol. That's the beautiful thing about Juggalos, is that they stick together as a tight family. I could internet meet a Juggalo meet up in town, show up without knowing anybody and I had instant friends based on nothing more than we all woke up, looked in the mirror and said to ourself "I'm different".

 

A juggalo seems like a fat gigolo in clown makeup.

 

Tbh, regardless of how much shit I talk about ICP, I kind of agree that they have developed enough of a fanbase and subculture that could warrant a segment on a history of rap documentary.

But just as I knew Mac Dre was not going to be featured on there because he was underground, I think it likely the same for ICP.

I read it...every word...I am fascinated by your fascination with icp….I think its cool yopu know so much about them....I dont know that much about any entertainers....not even close.....I have a hard time remembering the words to even the most popular of my favorites...well done j
