From the mountains of garmisch peaks
    To that Mittenwald lake
    I hunt and I fish
If I need to get away
If you're finding faults with me
In the morning more than I can stand
I'll tell ya hwat, for a little while
I'mma go see the outdoor plan
Cause I'll fish when I get hungry
Shoot my gun if I need love
If I wanna breathe a bit better
I'll hit that mountain up above
I go hunting in the morning
Once again in the evening time
And if I start a missing you
I can look at them stars all night!

For all serious non-aquatic accidents how is finding and turning a crank with your entire hand several times easier than pressing one finger to a button when your face deep in an airbag?

You think the electrics are going to function at that point?

I would think so but I'm not hoping to find out..

Are you implying all airbags in cars with electric windows are a scam?

No, I'm saying there's a better chance of the windows being inoperative than them working properly after a serious accident... (serious enough to deploy airbags) automatic door locks as well would likely not work if the doors open at all.

I assume you're talking about in situations where the door wont open
But what if you cant get power to the car either
    WHAT THEN

I read your point after I made my post, otherwise I would have referred to your point for my defense. Ty has established a clear precedent here

Then resort to Orison's headrest solution.

That would be easier than attempting to manually roll down windows regardless imo

    I'm not gonna lie

I tried to remove my headrest after reading orison's post earlier and it doesn't come out that easily haha

Make sure headrest comes apart. Cars built before that standard will not pull out.. I'm pretty sure they built that into many cars now. Where you can pull the headrest off and use it as a window break.. this is not just for submersible accidents..

And you expect to correctly turn a manual crank under those circumstances?

Ah ok, I'm not much of a car person. Mine has this button you push in attached to the base and then lift up and it comes out pretty easily.

My car now pulls out easy. but the car before that one you could hardly get it out and you had a really yank on it break it out of the plastic seal.

I live around a lot of water drive around the river all day and I doubt I'll ever put my car into the water.. there is flash flooding concerns here but I don't go anywhere near where would be . If so I would just shoot my window out..
