I only saw it as a trending thing on Facebook, Dino-cat trend and usually those things get shot down quickly but there were lots of laugh faces and no angry faces.

Our prettiest pollutant: just how bad are fireworks for the environment?

 

Not as bad as sending huge rockets into the atmosphere. My guess!

 

What has more purpose? Depending on the goal of the rocket i would say the rocket. Hate that rubbish from fireworks. And drunk people messing with fireworks.

 

Rockets are sent into space when conditions are ripe for it. unless we're talking military rocket solid propellant used it battle. < much heavy metal pollution.
Fireworks on the other hand are set of everywhere is citie with stalled weather patterns. This allows the pollutants to pocket.

Space rockets are liquid propellant. Liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen that are used in the main engines of the rocket are clean.

 

I used to love fireworks but yeah...
Thinking about this stuff has made me less keen
