See to me, that's like some filth from up north in Berlin. yeah we don't have much time for that down south in Bavaria.

Though, a lot of Steve Earle songs make more sense now that I've learned a little history from just this song. Even the photos are relatable to his songs, and I get where's he coming from with his politics. Obviously Chris Knight too, being from Kentucky.

 

I have some work to do tomorrow before going out for the night. I'm having breakfast with my uncle and then I'm helping one of his friends do tracking for his dogs and then next weekend I'm going to be the familiar scent and do the placements and the track for a show trial. Should be pretty cool.

 

I would say im an atmospheric listener. Sure, lyrics often add tremendously but its the sound that draws me in and keeps me listening. Wether its for example Cash - A satisfied mind (wouldn't be nearly as good without those lyrics), some harsh black metal or some stuff like the Doors, Creedence or some 70s roots reggae: love the lyrics, love the instruments but in essence its the atmosphere or mood it sets But i always have a hard timing finding the exact right words to describe what matters most. Sometimes it even differs of course! This is why its so funny and pointless when lyric lovers nag on certain other music thats made for dancing, not for philosophical listening
