I don't get how lyrics can make you hate the man who wrote them, but you still like the lyrics. Most peculiar.

 

Yeah well. One of life's big mysteries.

 

pretty cool sleep paralysis last night. with the one door open it left a lot of light into the room. i blocked the door with chair to keep dog out. Im looking that way as Im falling out, but having a hard time sleeping cause I need to pee a lot from drinking tea and water. my brain is going over things I learned in school. its about 3am/ I laid down at 2.

when the paralysis sets in, my heart is getting really weird and im paying attention to it, maybe to big a dab before i laid down Im thinking. right arm tucked under my head, sleepin on my arm.. I can see to the other room in the darkness. the light is being broken up by moving beings. I think its the dog, but I can feel her breathing on the bed. I want to tell her to stop breathing cause she making bed shake but I cant. beings about 3ft tall. they are passing between the chair and doorway come to me. I feel scared but my mind says they cant do anything to you. And like little soldiers they came, i feel my heart and my arms totally disconnect as they get closer there is a dark window like a light in the center..

like you taken a flash light and put it in your eye, this thing is bright, not in the center but to the side some, it moves. Im pushed to it by the beings. its dark but there star patterns around the bright one in the center get brighter as the one in the center engulfs us, as we start falling thru there is a loss of persons, as if we're not one person but three -I akin this to body, mind and spirit . from my head to my toes, feel like we're shrunken to the size of a dime or smaller. I cant feel my body I know its there but the more I try and move I cant, I want to say something but I cant, eventually lost conscious.

These beings reminded me of Jawas but no eyes. During the time I thought about the mind dumping DMT < if that is true. There most def feels like something released from the body to start the process of the dream state.. When the heart beat changed. But when using cannabis or other substances, its hard to pin point any biological chemical..

 

Michael jackson has some good lyrics....bill cosby has some funny routines....people hate those dudes

I want to go back to discussing Monster Magnet. Something oddly satisfying about about discussing bands I haven't heard mentioned in 20 years.

And last night I looked up some other songs on the tube of you. And I can confirm with drift that he does seem like a bit of a douche canoe. Not sure how I feel about the music yet

 

I used to know a guy that looked and acted just like him... So now I hate both of them.

OZIUM
is a great monster magnet song, but it's really old and bad quality sounding.

i like the lines

but also it's a song about having sex with a girl on acid, and makes me think, what a sleaze. so i like the lyrics and the song but
i know i don't like him. however, when i was 17 i would have found him attractive so maybe it's hate that came from resentment.

They're associated with the stoner rock scene so that's how i knew of them. But although they can rock and have some good part in most songs, there's rarely a song of them that i really dig. Too many stoner rock that do what i like much better, so.... no time or real interest in this one
