Another day with no wins. It's really getting to me now. Not playing bad, just not winning. Just overwhelmed I think with a few things. Not in right frame of mind today, burst into tears after my final loss lol. Not in front of anyone just went outside. It's getting to me.

Just keep in mind this is simply what happens when you're used to winning ;) :D

Do any of y'all have any experience/knowledge of a good back brace/support? I'm interested in one that addresses the lower back; Actually I do have a brace, and it closes with velcro and has magnets. It is getting older (and used), and it has begun not wanting to stay closed. I have looked at some on Amazon and I know there is a Tommysomething with copper brace support at CVS. I have no clue what the copper is going to do in these brace supports because it appears to be thin threads interwoven. ANYWAY... I'm looking for recommendations from any of y'all.

Here Is a little summary of yesterday late afternoon's adventures:

I'm sure some of y'all must remember me posting about getting LIT UP by a yellow jacket. I was bit one (ONCE) time...and it about killed me. Jesus Help Me that was one of the most painful ass things I remember...and the pain that comes with one of those just keeps on coming - for a while. :grimacing::fearscream:

Yesterday, I got to looking for Mama's stubborn ass...my friend and I had been working in the yard all afternoon.

It looked/looks really pretty good. in the back yard, where we are most of the time..no need for Mama and her damn pruners bending over clipping at random shit that isn't there. SOOOO come to find out, Mama had taken herself outside the fence and was working with those fucking pruners right over that yellow jacket nest! My friend had gone and I'm about to begin supper and I find her outside, spraying at these yellow jackets WITH RENUZIT TRIPLE ODOR PROTECTOR. They have practically swarmed her. I am smacking at them with a towel I happen to have in my hand, and pulling her inside, which 2 of these horrible creatures manage to come on along for the ride inside. So, she is sitting there bleeding from I do not know what...I get the bloody Renuzit spray bottle out of her stubborn clutch, which she WOULD NOT and REFUSED to accept this was in no way going to harm those yellow jackets. I manage to find out spraying vinegar will slow them down enough for me to smack them down and kill them. It was unfuckingreal.

In the process of this, she is whining and going on and on and on and on. Which I was also stung in the process of all of this turmoil. She got stung at least twice on her hand and even once on her lip. I know it hurt. I'm really sure it did, but it didn't make her swell up with an allergic reaction and I fed her some local honey immediately, and started applying papertowel compresses with witch hazel. Trying to get her to sit still and even let the compresses stay was like trying to get a 2 yr old to sit still...or maybe getting one of these cats here to sing me a song and dance me a jig. smh

I crushed up an aspirin and mixed with water and applied it. (I remembered Ty saying to do that.) She let that stay on there about a minute before she was wiping at it and squirting that witch hazel on the paper towels so she could keep the slashes on her fingers open and bleeding. :anguished: I still have no idea whatsoever where or how she got cut...probably something to do with those dang pruners that she loves like a child. :expressionless:

Now I woke up around 5:45am and she was awake with ALL LIGHTS ON EVERYWHERE but my one little room where I thought mistakenly I would get to sleep until at least 6 or 7am!! Of course after she was up and rambling and turning on lights and making noise, she went and sat on the couch where she was able to promptly go back to sleep. Sweet Jesus.

Now she is awake and eating breakfast...and I'm here to relate this bunch of mess to entertain y'all.

    Good morning.

Thank y'all very much for the encouragement...but I don't deserve to be admired, I can promise y'all that.

Whilst I'm physically doing what needs to be done, my traitorous mind is thinking WTH?!!! She is gonna make me lose my mind!

Ori, I even have some type of spray I got a few weeks ago just specifically for these bastards, and I will admit to not continuously spraying them but I did spray them for a while. good grief! Anyway this stuff has a insecticide, bleachy smell. If I wasn't still lazy to start the day I would go out on the porch and look at exactly what it is. I'll do it and come back later today, and let you know and you can tell me what you think. I bought it because it even says it kills yellow jackets, and not just everything even claims that!

BUT I and Todd initially sprayed that hole until he said it looked like mud around it (it didn't). (lol) I also sprayed other places but in the end it seemed like all it did was feed their strength! Godalmighty!

I guess I best accept I need walk to around to find all their holes - which we did successfully close off/kill off one newer hole last week.

I'm gonna need to get some kind of hazmat suit just so I can go around looking for holes. I know there are several in the yard. Of course I already have my heavy tall rain-type boots for snakes.

What a wonderful, lovely thing to say! I hope you're right, and that does make me feel better about things.

I admit to feeling guilty for how I feel about this present situation. For real guilt.
