ALSO - 2 days ago (I forgot if I told y'all this, but I don't think I did) - out of the probably 1000 times I've taken firecrackers out of the oven with no problem, I managed to take them out with an oven pad BUT NOT COVERING my right thumb and left index finger. For years and years, Mama could talk the fire out of people's burns, but when I asked her, she said "you want me to do that?" (WHAT?!? fml) I remembered something told to me probably over 50 yrs ago and I guess between what I did and whatever Mama felt led to say (lordhavemercy)...those things are relatively ok.

Jesus wept.

When I get in the 900 degree water to help with the sciatica and and back thing, I've had to quit using epsom salts so much (I've been using none at all for the past few days) because the dingdang skin is being eaten off of my elbows. EATEN OFF. I've tried every skin cream we have and even vitamin e, but so far no good.

That 900 degree water hasn't been bothering my burned fingers though.

I'm looking forward to my acupuncturist appt Monday where I can't speak above a whisper until I get into her room. Wasn't it nice of me I suggested to the owner of the establishment as well as the receptionist that if it is THAT IMPORTANT that "people's sessions aren't interrupted"..."then perhaps you should look into soundproofing those rooms...this is the south, you know."
