in conclusion i thought the book was wonderfully written and i would recommend it to anyone.

I don't think he is funny at all. I reckon he is a fucking tosser, I could tell he was being sarcastic, but I didn't get the big joke, man. Even though this thread is not for real, I still don't give a shit about dying younger than normal people. As if you'd want to be like 100 anyway.
