Hey guys whats new?

I made some bub-hash this morning out of some Purple Papaya I had... Bout to test it out in a minute here. Hopefully its dry enough, I've had the fans on it all day and have repeatedly pressed the water out every few hours. It's already had a big color change from the water loss, just looks like there's still a bit much water in the center of the hash chunk so I'm going to just take a little piece off the edge for the ol' taste test. Adjusted my technique in making it once again, in hope of getting some full-melt (or at least partial-melt) product, but I doubt I succeeded. I'll know soon enouggh I guess

Hope everyones having a good weekend. Can anyone suggest some intellectually stimulating documentaries to watch? Kinda in that mood tonight and I feel like I've exhausted most of the good stuff on Amazon instant video and Netflix...

I was actually in a new documentary by Rob Stewart called Revolution. You could check that out.

 

YouTube things crazy man, i got a video with 21 likes 0 dislikes, so many awesome comments, getting messages from people thanking me for making videos for some reason? I don't get that, but its cool...

But then something really fucked up happened, this little girl messages me for help, saying how she gets bullied and shit, at first i'm like lolwut then i check out her channel, and she's this really little kid that has a ton of videos of herself on youtube, and she's crying in one of them... At this point i'm like shit... What am I supposed to do? Tbh I feel really weird about this.. like why would she message me that? She watches my videos and everything... I don't know what I'm supposed to do about it, nothing I guess.. but like, I feel bad for her... haha

Its really crazy... I don't get it... she's probably like 9-12 years old i'm guessing, i dunno.. but she reminds me of my little cousin for some reason, and I feel bad for ignoring the message... but i dunno what i'm supposed to do about it, i just make videos for fun man.. I don't want people messaging me that kinda stuff hahah

 

I dunno who chris hansen is but this girl has like 40 videos of herself... like those webcam upload kinda videos.. and you can see she's active on youtube through her 'feed' so like.. she's legit lol

What do you talk about in the documentary?

I checked out the trailer on their website, looks pretty powerful... I'd like to see it but its not available to watch anywhere yet. Bummer. I put a note in my PC on a random date a few months from now to remind me to look for it again. Thanks

 

You could watch Tupac: Resurrection. It's a great documentary. I wouldn't say it's "intellectually stimulating", but it's definitely interesting, thought-provoking, and deeply moving.

I caught the last half of the Tupac documentary resurrection about two weeks ago...it was really good:2thumbsup:

Yeah, it was interesting how they edited it to make it sound like he was narrating it, using words and statements from his interviews.

Also, the documentary shows just how complex of a person he was, and that he wasn't the "thug" and "criminal" the media made him out to be. I believe he would've been in politics, by now, honestly.

FYI, for those who don't know, "THUG LIFE" is an acronym for "The Hate U Give Little Infants Fucks Everybody". My interpretation of that is the fact that society basically turns poor and oppressed people into criminals, because the poor and oppressed inner-city youths are treated like criminals, even when they're not. Eventually. Eventually, they begin to believe it. He felt that society CREATED the "thug" side of him. "THUG LIFE" was his expression of that fact.

 

Tupac grew up in the spotlight his momma was a black panther

 

She was pregnant with him while she was in prison awaiting trial. She represented HERSELF in the trial, btw, and was acquitted of all charges, which is awesome. She is a strong woman, and she raised a strong man.
