For the sake of accuracy, you brought your mother into the conversation, I responded to what you said about your mother.

As for forgiveness, you do not understand what it is or what it is for.
Forgiveness is the antecedent to judgement. God created man good, very good. Our judgement against our brothers conceals this fact. Forgiveness restores our sight of the holy children that god created. I do not need to be forgiven because god has created me in his own likeness and image. That is not to say that I do not require god's grace. However you need to forgive in order to release yourself from the bondage you have placed yourself in.

Forgiveness means "before giving". Forgiveness returns you to the state you were in before the effects of judgement took over. Forgiveness is finally the realization that there is nothing to forgive.

I agree with you that our relationship with god as well as with the scientifically natural world has developed over time. Christianity incorporated many pagan affectations because pagans were the predominant group to be converted at the time. You can see the same effect in African cultures and is South America as native animistic rituals are incorporated into church services. I personally find no difficulty with the association.

You specifically said your mother, but it has been a while waterbrother and I do not recall which thread it appeared in or I would bring it up so that you could see it. If this is not true, then I apologize for my inaccuracy and for doubting your account. Again it is you waterbrother, not your mother that is calling for guilt. On every occasion I have offered you the choice between innocence and guilt, you choose guilt, or "give us barabbas".

You have a very particular bent that says Waterbrother believes correctly and if you don't believe as waterbrother does then you are destined to perish. This is what I mean by you consider them unworthy as they are. I know that you don't believe this, but your position is virulently nasty at large. You have an "us" and "them" outlook on humanity if not us, versus them. And this attitude you justify by saying it is what the bible says.

Let the mind be in you, that is in christ jesus, over this, and every other issue that faces you. Understand that there are "others in his flock" that are not with you and there are many rooms in my fathers house.

The devil means, "slanderer". And "the fall", never occurred in truth.
