So waterbrother, about the passage where jesus asks peter what he says about christ., Peter starts to say, it says in the bible, or they say, etc.., point, it doesn't matter what the bible says, it is the words that come out of you, your beliefs, that determine where you are standing with god and with your brother. No one on earth has revealed this to you he said God is love, period. We are essential to god, loving his creation as love is what he is, as we are essentially love also. Not one of us but desires our good and the good of those around us, depending on what our own model of good looks like, or what our model of "us", looks like.

My model of good, the holy spirits model of good, is that all children, are created in the likeness and image of god.

If satan, theoretically, had been given the world then your flesh is destined to decay. Give to god what belongs to god and to ceasar, what belongs to ceasar.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, goes the body, but the breath of life is never extinguished.

No one comes to the father but by me, saying I and my father are one.
You must identify with the eternal, not the transient. The holy spirit teaches me that I am my fathers son, still as god created me. The holy spirit makes gods claim on me, not satans, does not accuse, but redeems in spirit and in truth.

God did not condemn mankind to die. The story goes, man was made subject to temporary conditions. Part of you, meaning all of us, slides into darkness every time we insist on sin. If god truly has a plan for your salvation, then any complaint we muster against the world is an active attack against that plan. Count it all joy!

How is possible to count it all joy by what we see we make of life? Fact is, we are witness to misery in this world and the poor we have with us always. Come unto me who are heavy laden and I will give you rest by telling you the truth about this world and the next.
The truth will free you from the cycle of the grave. We are created eternally, gods command is eternal life. You are not a body, you are free. You are the will of god. God wills you to be eternally alive, your will and gods will are the same will, are they not?
Our greatest need then, is vision. If the the eye be sound then the whole body will be full of light. Love god with all your heart and strength, and what is that?!!!

Mind, no room for sin, no room for death, none of that allowed in the kingdom of heaven. Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand, that is, reorient the pentacle of the senses to seek only god and his kingdom because it is in your grasp to do so. Let the mind be in you that is in christ jesus.

 

And add to that the Acts of the Apostles presenting the substance of wanting a system for knowledge of the fellowman and the common goodly congregation of Christians often yet unrealized of the eternal Life in just the insular community, realized of the profiting in the KIngdom of Heaven for this ultimate goal. Thus we have the calling to be free from a historical as well as a practical human perspective.

 

Indeed no one puts new wine in old skins or the skin will burst and both the wine and the skin will be ruined.

I don't know how free from a practical human perspective we want to be, nothing teaches like success.

Had our previous learning taught us well, we would not be searching for answers for the mess we had made. I know I wouldn't have.

 

So on the odd occasion we are called to be FREE, but we never UNDERSTAND that fruition. You wanted to say 'KNOW'.

i use the public restroom provided if that is what you are asking. A good sense of humor excuses much mischief and I don't usually press my case to the point of terror.

But none of us are free if some are afraid. Fear is unpredictable because it has no face.

I did not imagine that so many doors would open for me may be a better way to put it.

In a world of condition, if I defend myself I am attacked. It is not a matter of stronger or weaker spirit it is a matter of attraction, of intent. There is nothing I have that I withhold from anyone, the only thing we have, is what we have to give, I have nothing to loose, nothing to defend against, therefore I am not subject often to serious altercation.

My feeling on fear is that it is a liar, it sits on your shoulder and says, follow me I will keep you safe. But it's real intent is to keep you from going where you will and to wound your heart.

i agree. fear is no match for fearlessness.its the one thing fear itself is afraid of.
