God just wants to live on the earth, not merely in His "heavenly hotel". His whole focus is on earth, in man, not heaven, with His angels. His intention is to bring heaven to earth, in man, as His vessel, with God as man's content. With our co-operation, this is possible. One who lives in communion with the Lord lives a life expressing God, and Christ is lived out of such a one. This effectively brings God to earth. The church is simply this kind of living, but expanded, corporate, rather than individual.

Apart from Christ, the church has no purpose, no real meaning, no function. Apart from Christ the church does not exist. Only that which issues from Christ within can be called "the church". This is seen in the fact that Eve was composed of something from Adam, from his rib. This "rib" signifies the divine life, the eternal, unbroken life of God.

",,a bone of him shall not be broken,," (those crucified typically had their bones broken so that they could not support themselves, to remain alive. This was not done in the case of Jesus, as He was already dead when the soldier arrived. He did pierce his side with a spear, however, releasing the sin-atoning blood, and the life-giving water. "out of His side flowed blood and water,,")

The church came into being through the death and resurrection of Christ. The church is Christ's continuation, His counterpart, His bride, His house, His kingdom. Apart from Christ, the church is simply a hollow religious institution.

Christ is anointed authority, christ is the truth about you.

Not sure if you're implying that Christ is not a real and living person, but merely a "principle", but if so, I would disagree.

I would agree that Christ is personal, intimate, and real, and that the "real you" is intimately involved with Christ in you.

As Paul states in his letter to the Colossians,, "To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

"Glory",,or God expressed, gives us hope, the hope of our personal involvement in God's expression in the here and now. Christ in us enables this, and thusly, is our hope.

Jesus is a personality devoted to us, and stands ready always to bring assistance where we might be unable. All he has is given by the father. He himself is not an object of worship, in other words, christ is not a cult of personality.

We are all in each other. That is where we experience each other. I do not appreciate you from afar, but with my own being. The brain chemicals and electrical activity that represent you are produced in my own body. If we can remember our ties completely, we can experience each other transcendent of location. As often as you do this, remember me.

So no, I do not regard christ as a principle, but as an elder wiser brother within the sonship of god. What I mean, christ is the truth about you is, I am created in the likeness and image of god, male and female, creative being. I and my father are one. I am not greater then the father but I am like him.
I do not mean to claim myself apart from anyone, but that the holy spirit had taught me of my inheritance in creation.

In time, I speak into existence, temporary conditions for myself which I share with those around me. The word condition has syllabic roots meaning "to speak with". These are but a shadow of our enduring creation in god. Only the thoughts we think with god endure.

I think that is what willedwill means by language is for godlessness.

May be that God is a cult or personality from the Corinthians. It is there that He is convinced by St. Paul that being a fool for the beliefs we cannot be assured of is at the state of sharing inevitable for the loving acceptance of God into one's heart.

Christ is the fool and God is the truth against foolery that may be carried away with to far. There you are.

    Paul remains, zealous.

I was told let him tell you specifically what miracles to perform because my comprehension is not great. There you are.

Like I said you do not believe the Bible is God's word.

I do not recognize your "use" of Scripture because you use it to contradict what it is actually saying, much the way Satan used it when tempting Jesus.

That is correct, I do not believe that the bible is the actual word of god. The bible contains godly words or words of god. A written word is symbolic, it is the spoken word that lives, the living word of god is written in your heart.
    Have salt in yourself!

You do not recognize scripture being spoken alive. What I say contradicts your beliefs only. Gods word cannot be contradicted, it is a living word, emerging in the world through the life that he created. Beliefs only argue with other beliefs never with the truth.

Oh and since you bring up the temptation, man does not live, on bread alone, but every word that proceeds from the mouth of god.

    The Bible is God's Word.

While as you say, "Satan is quoted in the Bible", that doesn't void the Bible as being God's word, it only means that wants us to know the truth of what happened.

As for, David calling down evil on his enemies, perhaps instead of looking for reasons to disqualify the Bible as God's word, you should look to see why God had it recorded in the Bible.

As for, "I'll only consider those who believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, God having become flesh, as my real "brothers", and true believers", then neither the dope or myself are your brothers. Myself, since the Bible does not say Jesus Christ is God incarnate, I do not believe he is and since thedope doesn't even believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God but just a son of God, it would follow that he doesn't believe that Jesus is God either.

Cut it any way you want, it still comes out that you do not believe the Bible is the Word of god.

Like I pointed out, even Satan can speak scripture, Jesus recognized it as scripture but pointed out that Satan was misusing it.
Yes, I have never denied that what you say contradicts my beliefs but since what I believe is based on what the Bible actually says, it is fairly easy to point out all the times you contradict what was written under inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
That's funny seeing as you contradict God's word almost constantly.
If what you believe is not true then it argues with the truth.

As usual, you miss the point of what was being said, Jesus actually said; "He that is not on my side is against me, and he that does not gather with me scatters."

Not the way you do. What does that make me?

You have the only true faith, is that it?
    :bobby:
If you believe that, you have a small opinion of god.
No, the truth does not require belief, and what is true is always true.

I asked you who's side are you on. We are here in sanctuary under one banner.
You not only want to separate off anyone who does not agree with you, you break the rules of sanctuary to do it.

Do you think what you are saying is edifying, to anyone? We know what you believe. How do you strengthen our faith in the bible?

I makes you someone who does not believe the Bible is tha Word of God.
Well there is only one true faith.
How does your almost always contradicting what God has said make God small?
I never said that truth requires belief, just that you argue against it.

    And the consequence of that?
Then you do not know what faith is, the assurance of things hope for and the conviction of things not seen.
You are not listening and are simply aping your own words again. God cannot be contradicted, man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of god.
I cannot argue against truth only other beliefs. The truth does not require belief to be what it is, and no speaking against it can change it.
