I said they contributed, and they do. Here in the UK, some of us do perhaps a week in a work placement- it pails to the amount the Germans do. Training costs a company A LOT of money.

sponsor was a stupid use of word, but that's why it was in inverted brackets. The fact remains the German tuition cost is very low, and this is because it's an imperative to have an apprenticeship system to work.

To reiterate, we don't use the apprenticeship system like that do. It isn't an imperative, or if it is i'm fucked because I certainly haven't got one

I will stand by my point. We should implement this apprenticeship schemes more. It would make it cheaper, and just to further the fact

I believe working on the job and being taught how to do something will only further a persons understanding. Here in the UK so many students come out of university with no work experience, and just a bit of knowledge they do not know how to apply- it's a silly, expensive system that is just keeping young adults from growing up and getting a job.

An excuse to drink and party for another three years, basically.

I am an older student, i've worked in the field that I am studying and this is the reason I believe my grades are higher than other peoples. Intelligence is only part of the equation.
