even if you didn't know it, it's almost certain that you have. they're impossible to escape from time to time in popular culture.
i'm from the us, too. maybe there is some obscure product where you live called "nesta," but i assume you got a little confused....because there is a nationally known brand called nestea which sells nasty prebrewed iced tea sweetened with corn syrup rather than sugar or honey....and its a very widely distributed product nesta is an actual name. currently best known for some soccer player or some bullshit like that. i've used this name since i was 13 or 14, though. at the time i chose it after finding out it was bob marley's middle name. i liked bob marley a lot at the time, thought it was a cool name, and obscure, and adopted it just because of no really good reason beyond needing an internet handle. it stuck.
you're referred to here: Since so many people are into Bob Marley, it is only natural for advanced white people to profess to only marginally liking Bob Marley (note: it is impossible for a white person to outright dislike him). Instead, these white people will claim to preferring more obscure artists like Burning Spear or Peter Tosh.
no, i really do like bob marley alot. not marginally. i also like peter tosh, but he really is far from obscure. burning spear is okay, but not amazing. i just hate compilation albums in general, it has nothing to do with bob marley.
Though white people do not actually listen to classical music, they like to believe that they are the type of people who would enjoy it. You can witness this first hand by going to any classical performance at your local symphony where you will see literally dozens of white couples who have paid upwards of $80 for the right to dress up and sit in a chair for hours reading every word in the program. After leaving the concert hall, white people will immediately begin telling everyone they know about how much they loved the performance and how they plan to “go more often.” This is because white people see little to no value enjoying classical music without recognition from other white people. This can be seen first hand by looking at the plaques and bricks around all opera houses: they are covered in white person names. yes, this is the most true one of them all. it kinda pisses me off too because i loved to be offended.
fuck you man... the two most recognized people in every country in the world are jesus and bob marley. the fans outnumber you. you are wrong...
