I would have called the police and insurance companies right then and there. when she leaves with a ticket, i bet she doesn't do that again

My car was once a victim of a hit and run by some drunk lady. It was parked on the street and she side-swept my car. Luckily somebody was behind her and followed her home and got her plate number. Her insurance company ended up paying for the damages, but she was never cited for a hit and run.

if her insurance pays for it, isnt that kinda like an admission of guilt?

ya i avoid all that shit if i can i hate cops and i hate dealing with bs. If she would have tried to get the insurance involved i would have had a legit argument tho if it had to go there.

lol my insurance did the opposite..I was hit once by a drunk..I chased him down and forced him to pull over ...but back then cell phones were few and far between so I told him to stay and I drove around the corner to the police station and reported it trying to get someone to go see if he stayed...he left of course ..the damn insurance wouldnt pay to fix my car but the cops charged the guy with fail to remain at the scene of an accident...they knew he was wasted drunk too but didnt get him for that because he left they couldnt say for sure because he could have drank between the accident and home

Well, it's not like the car insurance company could have charged her with a crime. The law enforcement failed to. I assume her insurance co could have dropped her like a hot potato, but I guess I will never really know.

That sucks. I hate dealing with insurance companies. Luckily, the only insurance company I have to deal with these days is medical insurance.

I was using the car commercially anyways (with personal insurance only) so if the insurance had investigated what I was doing at the time of the accident they would have dropped my coverage so I never pursued it

I was driving down route 30 once in heavy traffic and the car in front of me was being so over-the-top kind to other drivers that they collided with another vehicle in front of them.

    It was great :2thumbsup:

haha i have had a few small and a few bigger car accidents in my time. Infact one of the funniest was when i was going to take my driving test, at the testing place, i parled near the main building instead of going to the test circuit, once i realized my mistake, i started backing out to go to the test track, (btw i was quite nervous about the test) and i bumped into another car in the parking lot of the damn DMV. Quickly i jumped out and looked to see if there was any damage to the other vehicle, there was none, i jumped back in my car and zipped over to the test area, and proceeded to pass! hehehe

Cops don't keep duct tape on them, though. They steal that shit from you if they need it. But we didn't have any, either. So we borrowed some packaging tape from the furniture outlet we were in front of. lol

What's even worse is we spent the whole day shopping and even ended up at a Target, and STILL didn't pick up any duct tape. lol
