Subway should sue what's left of his ass off for such a foolish statement. Food doesn't make the predator, the predator was always there. It's a mental defect, so I'm not shocked that he'd attempt this sort of hail Mary play to deflect as much as possible. Like Goegan I can only hope an inmate takes this disgusting child rapist out. Soon.

 

Brain disorders caused by weight loss is no excuse, even if it were true. Children come first, they come before anything else. Even if he has pedophilia, he should not put himself before the welfare of children. I'd like to punch him and his lawyer in the face for trying to use such an excuse, as if there is a reason somewhere in the world to make what he did ok.

In reference to my statement in another thread about not causing unnecessary harm, I believe I might be able to justifiably label my punching them in the face as necessary.

Years ago it was kind of a standard joke about how some in the US sued over nothing and won cases. I think now it is a far larger issue as there are cases all over the world that you simply shake your head at being filed and are ready to dunk your head in a toilet when you hear settlements of some of those cases.

At times I wonder where common sense went and when we can expect it to return.

Ex-Subway pitchman beaten in federal prison

March 16 (Reuters) - Former Subway sandwich chain pitchman Jared Fogle, who is serving a sentence for child pornography and sex offenses, was beaten in a Colorado federal prison in late January by another inmate, according to TMZ.

A prison official in Colorado and a lawyer for Fogle did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

He pleaded guilty on Nov. 19 to charges of child pornography and traveling for illicit paid sex with minors.

TMZ reported that Fogle suffered a bloody nose, swollen face and scratches on his neck after being beaten on Jan. 29 in a recreation yard by inmate Steven Nigg. The website said it got its information from "docs" but did not elaborate.

Nigg, who is in custody on a weapons charge, got a small cut on his left hand in the fight and was put in solitary confinement as punishment, TMZ said.

There is more then enough evidence against him. Why would you defend someone like him? Are you one of the guys sending him the child porn.

He didn't just have child porn. There are taped conversations with a woman (under cover cop) saying he wants to sex with her and her 2 daughters ages 11 & 13. He is sick... should be taken out in bear Country tied to a tree with honey all over him and let the Bears have a jarred footlong. Anyone who has been a victim would agree.
