They should have secured this other picnic table too. It found its way over to the chained one. Must be trying to set it free.

Rough waters at the lake today. I sat at the shoreline watching the big waves.

Prison conjugal visitation. Expect to see some little picnic tables running around in about 9 months.

I think the forensic equipment is faulty. The geolocator evidence should have clearly suggested that with the regional pollution, it is impossible for large groups of birds to be in the sky.

As far as the cirrus clouds, I find them judgemental.

This is the hermit crab my daughter and grandson found at PCB, FL.

I don't know why he was named "Stan".

do you happen to know what's tattooed on that girl's leg? it looks like a turkey from here, but i feel like that's probably not accurate.

I do. It is a train her grandfather used to run, before he passed away.

lol We can use more picnic tables, the city came up with a good plan for once! I was thinking prison break but I like your interpretation better.

I think so. Honestly, I haven't looked at it all that closely. My husband was crushing on her all weekend, though, so I asked him what the tattoo was of and he was able to tell me right away.

It's not the tables They're chaining up, it's the trees. It's amazing how many trees are stolen from city parks, and dogs won't pee on the tree when there's a family eating at the picnic table.

No camping trip to New Hampshire would be complete without a trip to the flume in Franconia Notch State Park.

Have they made any progress towards restoring the Old Man of the Mountain (The Great Stone Face) ?

Maybe they're just using the trees and tables to make it difficult for people to steal chains.

These are before and after pictures. I haven't heard anything about restoring it in the 13 years since it collapsed. I think it would be a bad idea, an artificial one just wouldn't be the same.

This fellow kept jumping up right beside me on the bench

then dashed away when he grabbed his treat.

I kept putting a peanut for him on the bench and he'd swipe it pretty quick. A couple of times I slacked off in my duty and he gave me a "Well, I'm here" look.

It was a beautiful day, but hot in the sun. Definitely a day to sit in the shade. I spent a couple of hours cooling off under the trees after a long brisk walk.
