Haha... well believe me- Once the lightening showed up, you should have seen how fast I swam out of that lake!! Then we were chilling in my car and there was this young mother and like her one year old still in the lake... this was with HUGE lightening bolts right there and some hail. I was shocked. I really almost felt like saying something but yeah... I mind my business. Oh and the worst tornado warning I ever deal with was when I was visiting a friend in TN.... some dude voice came over the loudspeaker type of thing saying there was a tornado on the ground and to take shelter. Everyone else stayed by the pool and I went and hid in the basement! I'm not used to that shit! The sky was all kinds of colors too... orange, black, green......
well, the fucking moron probably didn't realize that the lake wouldn't protect her and her baby. sometimes people are really stupid. but then, i'm utterly terrified of lightning.
Just imagine hearing that VOICE instead of just a siren. :hysterica I'm afraid of lightening too. I love watching it..... when I know I'm safe. Haha. I'm not a fan of tornadoes either but that's prolly because we never get them here.
i can handle an earthquake with a humorous degree of blahness. it's everything else that fucks me up.
When I was stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls,TX (in the middle of Tornado Alley) we had more tornado warnings (but no hits) in 2 years, then we've had here in New England in 30 years Hotwater
