Sunrise or Sunset

I have found that a beautiful sunrise can start the day, but I seem to see more sunrises than sunsets. Therefore its a blessing when I find myself looking at a gorgeous sunset because its usualy the perfect ending to a great day.

 

Both are beautifull. A Sunrise can make your day and make it a perfect day. But a Sunrise can conclude a perfect day in the perfect way . Corny? oh yes but I like it .

 

i like sunsets more. just because it creates a much more beautiful blend of colors in the sky, and it's also a lot more romantic :H

I like sunsets better because you don't have to wake up early to see them. Wow, that sounded kind of crappy. I also like sunsets because you can see the stars fade in like they're being born, and the sky is bright with colors that all turn to indigo-black.

Same vantage point but looking North towards France, this time at Sunrise....floating on a sea of clouds.

The best sunrise I have ever had the good fortune of witnessing was in the Wet Mountains near the Sangre De Christo mountain range in south central Colorado.

But, I like sunset. I have a beautiful view of the sunset at my dad's house.

 

How do you decide that? The sunrise makes me feel like there are a wonder of possibilities to the new day and the sunset can be so lingering and impressive that it makes you want to just appriciate (maybe with a cold beer and a smoke?!) Or put pen to paper to better describe your feelings about this daily beauty! Some writing, poetry or quick line drawings can really inspire you.

 

I am a sunrise junkie I live for the stuff. I hardly get to see it anymore because my bus picks me up at 7:00, and sunrise isn't until about 7:30/7:15, but whenever I can see it I enjoy it. I live out in the country too, so I can watch it come over the mountains.

I love sitting on the rail of my porch, drinking a cup of coffee, and just relaxing and watching the sun come up.

Best feeling in the world man!

 

both. im tired in the mornings so i dont get to enjoy sunrise all too much. sunsets in australia are beautiful.

They can both be fantastic, I really can't choose. I love the red sun rising above misty morning pastures here, and the sunsets are also amazing, especially when it colours the clouds from yellow to purple.

 

I voted sunrise. It makes me happy.

 

although, or maybe because, I often sleep when it occurs, sunrise. I hate mornings, but sunrise, especially when you watch it while you're crawling out of a tent to smoke the first of the day and eat breakfeast. aah.

I have very hectic days, so I like the sunset. It helps to relax me.

 

I voted no prefrence because I love them both. If there is a good day ahead then I will enjoy the sunrise. If I've had an awesome day then I appreciate the sunset.
