Super Bowl???!!

well I can see I am outnumbered so I am gonna let this rest. and go watch house!

 

^I have to say i did feel bad for moss. hes been with sucky teams for so long. Him and seau are the only ones on that team that deserve it.

football sucks. commercials suck. i really don't care how special either is on superbowl day, i'd still rather find some more productive to do than sit and watch 6 hours of football.

I havent watched the superbowl in years, the commercials are the best, though they have bee slack the last few years

 

i hate football with a passion..it always is on instead of the only show worth watching (simpsons)
not to mention football makes people turn into total assholes and act like idiots
few years ago when the philly team was in it i guess..some dude on the street asked me what i thought the score would be & when i said i didnt give a shithe went insane & pulled a gun on me..
couple hours later when the game ended, ppl were drivin round shooting outta theyre cars into the air, just bein totaly insane freaks
people act like it really matters who wins a stupid game
i also find it funny how much ppl spend on superbowl tickets & how much ppl get paid to play a stupid game
i mean if u think about it, some ppl spend what they make in 3 months just to watch some dude run around chasin a ball a couple hours..some dude thats making more money every minute then they'll see in a lifetime..and the only purpose is to mommentarily distract them from theyre own lives, & failures
entertainers (after all pro sports arent about athletics at all theyre about entertainment, or distraction might be a better word) entertainers are the highest paid ppl by far outragiosly overpaid.. most people are in a different catagory, struggling to make ends meet, working long hours at jobs they hate, getting paid very little for theyre work, being able to afford a superbowl trip, see a few movies, & go to a few concerts temporarily distracts them from theyre own lives and makes them feel like the works worthwhile since they can afford to forget about it a few hours every now & then..
maybge im just not easily distracted by fat millionairs in tight pants..lol
but the whole thing just annoys the hell outta me
especialy when it interupts the simpsons


but hey we should have our own superbowl..(as in smoke off)
take bets on who can smoke the most
put on crazy commercials for pipes n papers
& get paid a million a toke
thats a superbowl that might catch my interest

 

I totally agree man. Over here a lotta people bang on about football or as you might call it 'soccer'... when its just such a dull thing to follow.

People spend their lives supporting a team that doesn't give a shit about them as individuals.. and its all just statistics in the end. Why not just flip a coin and decide who wins a match that way?

I realized that people on here are always hating on people who made it successful or the one that is more mainstream than others. They like to route for the underdog, even tho they respect how great a person plays his position they seem to knock him down in other ways and find something to complain about. I guess they are going against the grain so much they are never truely happy or satisfied. GO PATRIOTS!! FUCK THE GIANTS! Eli Manning looks wierd therefore I don't like his team. haha

 

what the hell are you talking about. I dont hate Brady because he is successfull, i hate him because he is a horrible peroson and dosent deserve the success that he has. There are pleanty of other great players that i love. Just not the cocky bastards. The entire patriots team in geneneral are cocky and full of themselves. They thought they had the game in the bag, the went for a 4th and 13 in the 3rd in field goal range. They dont deseve the success they have.

 

This years super bowl was soooooooo lame. Im glad the giants won but it was the most boring fucking game EVA! My favorite part would be Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers playing. They did such an awesome job and played some kick ass songs. The commercials sucked this year 2.

 

The game was increadibly boaring, but the third quarter was amazing. So excitting. I thought the commercials were brilliant. I mean the little e-trade baby? That was great!!! And the budweiser horse with rocky. And the audi mock godfather (that looks like the sickest car ever by the way).

 

everyone at the superbowl party i went to, was like wtf why this old guy?? i was so mad cause i love tom petty so much i love his music. people have bad taste i guess. hes a legend in my eyes!
