Abu Nidal. Mastermind behind the ANO terrorist organization. In case you are unfamiliar this network was behind attacks in 20 countries with hundreds of confirmed deaths. Most notable the simultaneous attacks at Rome's da Vinci airport and and airport in Vienna Austria. He lived comfortably in Iraq between 1999 and August 2002. Weeks prior to Abu Nidals "suicide", Iraqi Intelligence Services received warnings that Abu was trying to reach an agreement with Britains SIS where an exchange of medical treatment in England would be exchanged for information. Abu Nidal professed that he could provide the latest information about Iraqi cooperation with international terrorism generally, and specifically al-Qaeda. By the way, Abu Nidal wanted to end his life so bad that he shot himself in the head four times. Many stories surround this mysterious sucide and some information has been corroborated by defected Iraqi aides.

So how does this relate or connect to the US lead Iraq war?

Israel can handle its own problems, it doesn't need big daddy US.

Abdul Rahman Yasin. One of the bombers in the first WTC bombing. Soon after the bombing Yasin fled to Iraq. On July 27, 1994 ABC News reported that Yasin is in Baghdad. After the invasion of Iraq, coalition forces discovered documents showing the Iraqi government provided housing and a monthly salary. He is still at large. US Justice Dept. under Clinton indicted Yasin for his role i n the bombing.

How does this relate to the topic? Have you forgotten the topic is about the US lead Iraq war. Are you saying this is somehow a justification for war?

This is the most notorious of three camps in Iraq where terrorists received training. The camp featured a commercial airliner, an urban assault training site, and a three-car train used for railway attack instructions. Former Iraqi army captain, Sabah Khodada, former instructor at Salman Pak gave an interview to the PBS tv show Frontline in which he stated "this camp is specialized in exporting terrorism to the whole world". Khodad was asked to draw the camp from memory and his drawing closely matched sattellite images.

Ahmad Hikmat Shakir, an Iraqi VIP facilitator who worked at the international airport in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia got the job through an Iraqi Embassy employee named Ra'ad al-Mudaris. Shakir greeted Khalid al Midhar and Nawaz al Hamzi (9/11 hijackers)

at Kuala Lampur's airport. He later escorted them to a local hotel where they met with conspirators Ramzi bin al Shibh and Tawafiz al Atash.. Five days later Shakir disappeared. On Sept. 17, 2001 Shakir was arrested in Qatar. On his person and in his apartment authorities discovered documents connecting him to the 1993 WTC bomb plot and Operation Bojinka. Shakir's name appears on three different rosters of the late Uday Hussein's paramilitary group, the Saddam Fedayeen. He was later identified as a lieutenant colonel in the Saddam Fedayeen.

This is an image of Ahmad Khalil Ibrahim Samir al-Ani, a Consul and Second Secretary at Iraq's Czech embassy from 1999-2001. Czech intelligence found al-Ani's appointment calendar in Iraq's Prague embassy. On April 8, 2001 al-Ani had an appointment with a person that was noted as "Hamburg student". The Czech government sticks to their contention that they did observe al-Ani meeting with Mohamed Atta on this date. Czech Ambassador Hynek Kmonicek expained in a letter to US attorney James Beasley "In this moment we can confirm, that during the next stay of Muhammad Atta in the Czech Republic, there was the contact with the official of the Iraqi Intelligence, Mr. Al Ani, Ahmed Khalin Ibrahim Samir."

al-Ani was expelled from the Czech Republic on the basis of activities which were not compatible with the diplomatic status. He was casing the headquarters of Radio Free Europe and Radio Free Iraq(as seen in above surveilance photograph), presumably setting them as a target.

The topic at hand is you bringing up the non-existance of a relationship between Hussein and al-Qaeda, a claim which is very easily thrown out, but not easily backed up. I am not posting this a being "justification for war with Iraq", simply that there is more evidence linking a relationship than the logic that Hussein was a secularist and bin Laden is a fundamentalist. Techincally speaking, we are both off topic by discussing this subject and I am through. I am not going to even waste my time responding to questions by the terrorist sympathizers in this thread. Cited unbiased information is a real pain in the ass when it does not conform to your beliefs isn't it?

I don't support the war, but I support the people who are there.

Because America has been a war hungry country for quite some time, the population is used to going to war and only recently have there been protests against it as people start thinking out of the box. I see out of the box, but I also see that it is a corrupt government that is sending these thousands and even millions of people to war and their potential deaths for personal gain. But how can anyone not support the people that are there, risking their lives for an ideal?

    Patriotism is usually blind.

A little something from my library.....................

Jesus was a loser and a coward

It's time the truth be told.* Jesus was a loser and a coward, it's just that plain and simple.* Just listen to this tripe:

Mt 5:38 "You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’*
39 But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.
44 But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,*
45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.*
46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?*
47 And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?*
48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Can you believe this coward?* This is shameful, really.* And very un-Christian.

Here's what a real Christian does:
Sends their little boys and girls into a military to defend our Nation and way of life.
Supports a war on terrorism, to hunt out the evil scum and kill them.
Prays God will help the soldiers to find and kill all the enemy, as quickly as possible.

Frankly, I'm not sure these horrible passages in Matthew are even real.* (Well, ok, they're in the other Gospels too, but they probably just copied from each other.* Doesn't mean a thing.)* I think they were probably put there by Satan to try to weaken us, and our true Christian resolve.

Just think if we had actually been practicing what this coward preached for these last 2000 years.* No crusades (where the Real Church killed millions of the infidel Muslims, praise God.)* No Lutheran sponsored Holocaust.* The Roman empire would have turned into a peace-loving state when Constantine became emperor 1700 years ago.* No American civil war, as the 2 Christian sides would have resolved their differences peacefully.* It's inconceivable.**

Sure, occasionally the whole peaceful resistance thing gets lucky and works, like when Gandhi helped free the entire Indian continent from hundreds of years of British oppression without a single gunshot or raised fist.* Hey, even a stopped clock is right twice a day, everyone knows that.* But he was only a pagan Hindu, instead of a real Christian.* And India finally came to its senses anyway, and developed their own military and nuclear bombs.* So there.

It warms my heart to attend Memorial Day Church services, especially on or near military bases.* To see all the people who have lost lives & limb preserving our freedoms and way of life, now THAT is God's blessing.* THAT is true courage.* THAT is true patriotism.* THAT is true Christianity, not the crap Jesus was saying.*

As a part of the War on Terrorism I really think we need to reprint our Bibles, and remove these shamefully cowardly passages.* They could possibly dampen the spirits of our fighting men and women.

Of course, there are a few others that might need editing.* Just read this shameful display of cowardice:

Mt 26:47 While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people.*
48 Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: "The one I kiss is the man; arrest him."*
49 Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, "Greetings, Rabbi!" and kissed him.*
50 Jesus replied, "Friend, do what you came for." Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him.*
51 With that, one of Jesus’ companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.*
52 "Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword."*
Luke 22:51 But Jesus answered, "No more of this!" And he touched the man’s ear and healed him.

Here the terrorists are coming.* They are going to beat Jesus, mock him & murder him.* If they'd had a plane they would have flown it right up his cowardly ass.* He knows that, and so do we.* But does he fight?* No.* One of his followers actually has courage, and attacks one of the terrorists, cutting off his ear.* Jesus tells them to stop this, and then actually heals the terrorist!* He even calls one of the murdering terrorists friend!!* Can you believe this?* Me neither.* Couldn't have happened.* Even if it did, it clearly has no bearing on the current military campaign of Infinite Justice to wipeout terrorism.

That's why he was not only a coward, but a loser.* He didn't fight the terrorists, and they killed him.* Oh, yeah, we try and wash over this with the whole salvation of all thing, but that has nothing to do with us.

    Clearly.

I mean, can you actually imagine what would happen if we did what this coward did?* Lived how he lived?

What kind of a world we'd be in if this had been the sole Gospel of the Holy Christian Church for the last 2,000 years?

    Me neither.

    God Bless America

People just dont understand. The troops DO make a difference in the world! If not for them, you would have absolutely no rights right now. Hell, we might all be in concentration camps!

When innocents are killed, it is the ENEMY who is responsible, not us! And the troops fight the enemy so innocents WONT be killed! Dont you see?

The troops in Iraq right now are fighting so future Iraqis wont have to know death and despair! The people they HAVE to kill want Iraq to be a torture chamber with borders. (I use 'have' with distinction, you notice, they dont WANT to kill)

Our troops fight so that there can be ANY hope for the future AT ALL.
