yeah i guess for some reason there has been talk of her putting diapers on the baby bears,,. not sure why,i know he takes critters to schools an such on occasion maybe thats why? the tours really are not starting for a couple more weeks but im sure she will get one of the paying positions after the phone call tonight..
yeah it seems to be just dumb luck.. i mean she has all the college courses and the large animal experience from her years on the dairy farm. it just so happens that his head animal caretaker is leaving in a few weeks and i guess the manager there went over her resume with the owner and they decided they would see if she was interested in the position.. they have not even advertised for the opening yet.. she starts training tomorrow...:cheers2:
fantastic!!!! yeah, the diapers are likely for public hygeine. we used to have monkeys and such brought to our school. they were in diapers and the handlers explained it was because the auditorium was the cafeteria.
well they couldnt nick name him "black bear" on account he weighs more than most of them..lol he is one big dude..
Super awesome! That is something I would absolutely love to do. What a lovely way to spend their time. Congrats Dilli!!!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow I speak with the principle at Arianna's school. As I have said lots, she goes to a charter arts based school. I graduate with my AA in May. So I talk to the principle about possibly being a teacher's assistant next year. I cross my fingers because I would just adore working there Plus it would allow me the time to continue my education at Salem College. This is all so exciting to me.
me and dave have put a LOT of volunteer hours in for kai's school. it's fun and rewarding. dave was selected for the advisory committee, too. tonight he's heading off to the HOA, hoping to be elected to the board. there's a lotta disgruntled people around.
i saw a comment from a cop on another board regarding subdivisions with HOA's, he said "After dealing professionally with HOA's regarding disputes a multitude of times i would rather live in the basement of a outhouse than in a subdivision with a HOA." lol..
