You post one thing, someone posts another thing. Ones says one is lying, the other says the other is lying. Blackbelvet and Cyberfly, you both could be called parrots for believing everything you hear. Well, I tell ya what. I'll take the word of 250 men that served in vietnam over a few links to libral sites. It is obvious that people lie, and people lie often. So you can't really believe everything you are told by politicians or government officials. Wich would also mean you can't believe every thing you read on a website or in a paper. Let's also realize, that Kerry's service and unearned medals are a issue because he wanted to make them an issue. Even Bill Clinton called up Kerry and told him "enough with vietnam". I believe the Swift Boat vets, none of your links have showed anything to prove them wrong. Even your post of the person that works at the Chicago Tribune and was involved in one of these skirmishes says "Recollections of those who go through experiences like that frequently differ." So why don't both of you stop acting like parrots here.

No not everyone in the navy thinks they are lieing. Not everyone in the newsmedia either. That is just too funny. You make fun of someone for beliving something that you don't believe because your newsmedia says "it isn't true". Doesn't that make you a parrot?

Oh, and because someone that supported Bush supports the SBV's that makes them linked? OH NO, I LIVE IN THE US, BUSH LIVES IN THE US, I MUST BE LINKED TO BUSH! How idiotic. Yet again this is just a loosing side grasping at what ever they can. Like a drowning victim grasping for a floating twig. I know, you want to jump on the bandwagon and believe what everyone else is saying. Well you do that. I and my family will be voting for Bush. Then again, Kerry could be a blessing if he wins, you know, screwing up the country and all, getting us killed. Bring it on! The quicker this country falls on it's face the better.

I am NOT listening to people as i stated earlier, i go read wherever i can..i dont read ONE freakin website that has been uncovered as lies, you on the other hand DO..now get off of my back, I didn't make fun of ANYONE for believing something i dont believe..and I'm not a parrot nor did i make the comment..so go try to post yer hate on someone else..vote for bush..thats yer choice, im voting for Kerry..and i also read it on the NEW YORK TIMES there are ties to bush from the SBV.. http://nytimes.com/imagepages/2004/08/19/politics/campaign/20040820_SWIFT_GRAPH.html
I read wherever i can read about politics and most news journalists are honest and will search and find out the truth, not all but MOST..i dont look at a website such as SBV to get my answers from..that is the "IDIOTIC" thing to do..and as for losing side, I think you are in for a RUDE AWAKENING..and how is KERRY screwing up the country..Bush is doing one HELL Of a good job as it is! He brought us to this war, Kerry didn't but if he becomes president, it will be him who hasta get us out, at least he says he will get the troops out before his term is up i dont see yer all mighty BUSH saying anything about it..

All the financial backers ofSwift Boat Captains For Truth are all big time Repulican contributers.
O'Neil the man that wrote the book was hand picked by Nixon to debate Kerry on TV. An article in USA Today already debunked the Swift Boat Capt's story.

AS for Bush the ninth commanmant CLEARY states say "You shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor". We all know Bush lied about the WMD's in Iraq abd He had the SBCFT lie for him.

Jesus said that by their fruits you shall know them. Bush's fruit is pretty rotten.

"What good fortune for goverments that the people don't think"- Adolf Hitler

No, we do not know that Bush lied about the weapons. Why on earth would Sadam prevent people from examining his weapons factories? Guess he was hiding his porn collection huh?

And? They make contributions to a cause the support? What the hell is wrong with that? Are you saying that you may support something only mentaly or verbaly but wen it gets down to it actualy pitching in and helping the cause is wrong?

And there was an article to debunk the debunk, and then another, and so on, back and forth. This means nothing.

For that matter, we are all pretty rotten don't you think? Or are librals perfect?

Talk about proof in the puding. You are a poster boy for that quote.

Ok, how about starting a war over 'thinking they had WMDs". Better? There was no proof, and all of you gun-toting cowboys that have the "attack now, ask later" attitude are just pissed because we attacked and there was nothing. Maybe the UN didnt want us going to war for a reason. Try no evidence.

And if the Swift Boat veterans can't be proven true or false, they should be considered null. Because we can't trust and we can't disprove them. As in it should not be a factor at all, for either side.

And lastly, at least the girls thinking and doing her research, unlike others who just hear what they want to about their beloved president and don't think otherwise, and don't do anything to try and unveal the truth behind any of it.

The campaign to smear Kerry’s service to obscure the fact that Bush dodged the war is typical of the way republicans operate. The whole debate focuses on proving Kerry to be some kind of super solider or super liar. The fact is he went, risked his life, found out first hand what was happening and did what he could to end the madness. Bush went the way many privileged representatives of the upper class did: he went into the reserves. That people are so gullible to allow these political tactics to decide their votes is what causes apathy among anyone who can read more than a web page and newspaper. The smear represents what Bush and his party stand for…’by any means.’ Exampled by the 2000 election, the manipulation of religious fanatics, and the WMD’s in Iraq. These, while claiming to represent higher moral values.
The left better wake up, the days of the disorganized, powerless fanatic are over.

Kerry said he would have went to war even after knowing there were no WMDs.
