it's a pretty fascinating travel through the circles of hell, i'd have to say. every time i fly home to visit my family i get really bummed out that my family lives in socal. i stare about in horrified fascination and wonder how i managed to live there for so long.

Id also like to go. I am fascinated by all that is not suburbnan life.I like really dark grottos of society. Especially those that are lit by neon.

well, it's not so much like that, most places around LA. it's all spread out and trashy, covered in a brown sky, trash, asphalt and people who don't realize how much they hate life because they keep telling themselves "they live in the best state in the USA" or some such bullshit. but it's really interesting to see a gaggle of models shopping and never seeing the homeless guy sitting outside their starbucks.

 

It does hold a certain fascination
