    Lol. I've never heard that rumor before.

    I don't trust the Snopes.com normally, because I have found them to be wrong multiple times. But that rumor is a little absurd. Not to mention that my period only lasts 3 days and I don't usually bleed very heavily.

    Just to point out to those of you mentioning the issues of waste, cost, biodegradability, and size (in terms of how many you can carry with you), menstrual cups are an amazing alternative. I'm not trying to be annoying, but I really do think they are such a great idea. As far as what kind of tampons I use, I don't use them at all. When I did, though, I used Tampax with a cardboard applicator.

    uugggg... i don't use tampons.. once i tried to use it and i threw up and felt so sick afterwards.

    Untill I have a credit card to pay for the keeper, I use the tampax minis. So cute and portable!
