Tell me about your best friend

i don't have a best friend, i used to have 2 and they both stabbed me in the back, and since then i have trouble trusting people ...

 

I hear ya there, all too many times that has happened to me.

Aside from the piece of 2x4, my most recent best friend eventually became my wife and she ended up stabbing me in the back in the most traitorous way. I do have a number of people who I would call friends, but whose lives have led them to different cities, different countries and different lifestyles. I definitely would not choose to completely place my trust in another person and call them a best friend.

I always believed that the measure of a friend was that they could disappear from your life to walk their own road, but whenever your paths crossed again you could just pick up where you left off without the "where-the-fuck-were-you" bullshit.

 

well my wife pays the rent and our landlord's pretty cool to, but my best friend i'd have to say is this computer, on which i play with trains (bahn and rule the rail/iron horses) and autocad(r14.0). i'm trying to learn blender if i can ever internalize it's rube goldberg interface, but like rtr, i can't bitch about the price. and of course there's this internet, though if there ever ceases to be free places like this on it, that will be crap too.

i don't know. i mean there are a lot of people i've known and have known me over the years. most of whome it's been years since i've ever seen.

then there's people who seem to like me on the net. that's really cool and i appreaciate all of you.

there's the local furries, there's even a guy that drives a bus for the county transit that was my almost only friend when i was in high school. then there's the guy who i was working in this place with and we both quit at the same time and he introduced me to his friends who had this little half assed kind of commune up in oregon that i live d on for part of a couple of years. he's arround somewhere, a couple of villages over.

but i really don't get out much. there's the members of the local community of my wife's churchless, priesthoodless, religeon, in which i was active myself for a number of decades, but i don't really feel all that close to any of them.

really i'm pretty much a-social by instinct and inclination. having to live with anyone has always been a curse to me and i don't suppose i'm the easiest person in the world to live with either.

a lot of people HAVE been nice to me over the years and i DO appreaciate them, but like i said, i haven't really been arround anyone other then my wife for any amount of time for quite a number of years now.

SHE means well, but i still wish i was living by myself in a little cabin out in the boonies somewhere.

i don't have one best friend. i have two best friends who are equally as hip, but in different ways. hannah is my drinkin' and smokin' buddy and shroomy is older and wiser (or so she thinks. lol) no, but she can give really good advice and shit.

the original best friend was killed when i was 12.

my best friend since then is bert. she can be a **** & she is dumb as a post but she is also my soul sister & i love her.

 

My best friend is a blonde beatle. His hair is exactly like The Beatles wore their hair back in the day except his is blonde. He's a fuckin hippy that wears tie dye, bob marley, grateful dead, etc shirts every day. When he sprints he goes .05 mph and he smokes a lot of marijuana. That's about it.

 

My 3 best friends are all soccer playing dumbasses and I love em for it

 

Tommy is dead. I miss him, miss him so bad. I cant ever get married because he cant be my best man. He was a talented musician, and made everyone he came into contact love him. He has inspired those around him to the pointh that every July since his death, a Tommyfest has be held. It is extremely popular and nobody mourns that day. We celebrate that which Tommy was.
