I told my dad when I was 17.. but that's just because he smokes too. My sister was like turning 16 the first time we got stoned with dad. It's weird.

I told my mum "I have smoked weed before", because she thought I was smoking it everyday... which is sooo not true. It's funny to think she thought I was high like 24/7..

My point is, if they don't openly smoke around you I don't think you should tell them.

 

i wouldn't mention that you smoke cock unless you are sure your parents are ready to accept your sexuality. you will have to tell them eventually, but they need to be prepared for it, not have it thrown in their face all of a sudden.

I've learned something...if you smoke now, and you even attempt to smoke in the house, chances are really good that they are smart enough that they already know anyway. Daniel(my boyfriend)'s mom one day took me out and finally said, "I have a bad feeling and I think you guys need to cool it on the smoking for a little while and lay low." Two hours later, the cops were at our house, tearing it apart. She had known for who knows how long, when she and her husband lived in the same house as us, every now and then we'd try to get away with smoking and blowing it out the window...but apparently it didn't work out too well. Who knows how long she knew? Not to mention, she used to be a pothead herself, so she knew the smell. So, I don't see any point in making it a subject if it doesn't have to be. For now, just do the kid thing and sneak off to smoke. It's a lot funner when you have to be creative about it anyway.

to each is to his own, you can go on not smoking, for me it is part of my lifestyle and i dont feel like quitting, so back off
