If it's the height of humour telling someone nice to fuck off, then I grew up on a shitty council estate with some people who should be doing stand-up. Wankers.
Hello tharrr, I'm Mathias. I'm 17 year olds and I live in the cold, forresty, viking country that is Norway. My dreads have yet to be conceived, but a friend of mine is coming over in the nearest future to help me back comb my hair and start my journey. I LOVE music, it's the biggest reason I get out of bed in the morning. I spend almost all my time listening to music, and I listen to a lot of different genres - however, metal is the one closest to my heart. I also enjoy alot of 70s and 80s music - be it rock, punk, prog rock, metal, funk, soul or whatever - I love it. I'm also the vocalist in a metal band, but due to members coming and going as they please we have yet to establish ourselves completely - however, finally we are 5 people determined to get to writing our own songs, and eventually playing some gigs here and there. 'sgooood. I'm studying at Nannestad Videregående Skole - I'm not actually sure how the norwegian school system compares to the american, but I'm in my second year of three at VGS and after the third year I'm going to university to study engineering and renewable energy. So yeah, that's me. Great forum, I like it here
17 years old, from sunny England Just got me dreads 3 weeks ago and loving them AND their prickley-crispiness haha I'm hoping they will settle down and grow a bit fatter and crazier over time. I like to waste my days going to college and hating every minute of it, staying with friends on the weekends and smoking shisha whilst listening to Alice in Chains for hours and hours. it's my dream one day to make wildlife documentaries, and travel the world looking for the most remote places where I can find the weirdest/most wonderful creatures. I've been a little bit frightened by the hostility from alot of people on this forum, I think some people need to sort out their issues and just get along, after all we were all brought here with one major thing in common- we all have/love dreads!
Welcome. As long as you read around (especially the stickies our awesome mods made) and don't post the same questions over and over generally you will be liked.
"Welcome friend, have a most wonderful time here. " I am also very warmed by the friendliness by alot of people on this forum! thank you
I like you too, d00d - mostly because of the fact that you like me, but also for having Jesus pointing a gun with a small child in your sig.
They sure do. They would make an even better team if they had a minigun or a 50 cal. So, you like Mayhem? Awesome, what other bands do you listen to?
Hmm. Quite a broad range really. Agalloch, Mogwai, Behemoth, Opeth, Katatonia, Shape of Despair, Sigur Ros, Enya, Whitechapel, Bloodbath, Porcupine Tree, Blackfield, Tool, APC, Puscifier, Belphegor, Morbid Angel, Cypres HIll, Psycroptic, Unanimated, Novembre, Novembers Doom, Fantomas, Amon Amarth, Russian Circles, Kyuss, Mouth of the Architect, Swallow the Sun, ISIS I'd go on but I feel knobby going into all the bands.
