What's with all the finger-pointing? God damn, you guys are fucking assholes. She has a right to be wary of her surroundings and attentive to details, back off. She didn't say she assumed he was a terrorist, she just mentioned one of the things that came to mind. Don't you dare tell me that if you were told something like that by an Arab, terrorism wouldn't cross your mind at least once. It's a sad fact that we don't know what we can and can't believe anymore and you have to be cautious of everyone. It's just a lot more common for warning flags to set off when you hear things about terrorists every day. Not all people of middle-eastern descent are terrorists of course, but there still are some and after 9/11, regardless of what was behind it or the real story, it's still hard not to be a little scared.

To me it's just sad that there are actually people who do have thoughts like that come to their mind from a situation such as that..... in the year following 9/11, sure... but I thought most people had learned since then....

 

I try not to even think about terrorism because I don't anything for sure and there's no point in being afraid. If I'm gonna get bombed, then I guess I'm just gonna die in a bomb. It'll suck ass, but death is kind of final and doesn't seem most people really get much of a say in how it happens anyway. I just don't think it's fair to get all up Balloonatic's ass just for wondering about such an odd comment.
