Very good, ianabiap. Though I still think you'd be better off looking for what psychic experience is really like instead of chasing this will o' the wisp.

I have had an experience where I telepathically asked a question of someone who was not physically present, she answered me telepathically, and I confirmed later by asking her the same question out loud and getting the same answer out loud.

But I'm not even going to try to intuit your word. In my experience the spirits don't honor attempts to achieve verifiable documented proof. But you just never know, this time may be different.

Sure you do, but you aren't psychic ;)
I never said people who think they are psychic don't exist.
    They exist in great numbers.

Well you would never know since your not psychic. Have fun having a closed mind .

I've been raised by a "psychic", I have grown up around innumerable people who claim to be "psychic." In fact, they always insist that I have the gift myself! I've never seen a single shred of evidence that people can really be psychic. In fact, when you ask them, they use vague, idiotic excuses like: "You would never know since your not psychic, have fun having a closed mind".

Every test anyone has done to prove the existence of physic powers points to them not existing! Yet, the self proclaimed psychics just say that they can't control their psychic powers. You think once in a while one of them would happen to have their powers work for a test. It's pretty funny.

Mainly, belief in ESP and psychic powers exists due to ignorance and lack of knowledge of statistics and natural phenomena.

Tell me, what are your "powers".

If those people who truly have psychic abilities truly do exist, they are exceedingly rare. I'm not totally closed to the possibility, due to my upbringing, but I have never met one. Most people just want to believe they are special.

I started believing in it when i did 2 doses of LSD. I don't have very powerful psychic ability, but I do to some extent. The way i see it, seeing and hearing is a form of being psychic. When you see and hear something that's real, its a form of knowing. Knowing facts, judging people subconsciously, is all part of it. The vibes of any situation that you get your subconscious to tell you is all part of it. LSD helped me realize the potential, and i realized that I could not progress my psyche before simply because i kept my mind closed and told myself it's impossible. Then, I learned that there is infinite possibility which is the most amazing experience ever because you learn how to keep your mind open and don't rule things out.

I'm disappointed that you learned this in a clouded mental state. I thought you were going to provide some compelling, logical argument for the existence of psychic power. However, I've never seen it happen before, so why would it happen now. Silly of me to expect more. Oh well, I'm glad you found something that makes you feel enlightened.

Ok, but when i was on it, my cat was across the other side of the house, and every time i thought of the cat looking at him from a distance, his ears would bend back like something was about to happen. They could feel my psychic energy. I could think of something amazing and feel great, and my cat would feel the vibes and he was happier than i ever saw him. I could think of something horrible and disasterous and he would walk away being defensive. So I wasn't exactly being psychic, but there was alot of psychic energy.
I don't like how you call it a "clouded state" Lsd helps you learn how to use different parts of your brain, nothing is clouded. If anything, you use alot more of your brain on LSD.

Nope, I just posted my opinion in the thread, just like you.
And perhaps, you know, get some intelligent argument about physic powers.
And, quite predictably, I receive belittling sarcasm. Which is to be expected, of course.

Stating that "psychic people don't exist" without any kind of rationale or logical basis for your position isn't exactly the best way to go about initiating an intelligent argument about psychic powers, which makes me wonder if you're sincerely interested in the subject or are just another skeptic attempting to fortify your own worldview by dismissing opposing ones. At this point, all signs point decidedly to the latter -- which is to be expected of course. ;)

As far as being "belittled" goes, I'd say that your sweeping, presumptuous statement about the state of a person's psyche that you have absolutely no experience of any kind with is a whole lot more belittling than any of the light and mostly good-natured sarcasm that you received in return.

I guess you didn't read my second post. I am sincerely interested in the subject. And, generally, who doesn't want to believe in psychic powers? It's fascinating stuff.

I wish you'd read my posts more carefully. I have a lot of experience with self-proclaimed psychics, the actual people and books written on the subjects. Please save the personal judgments until you know the first thing about me. I'm not trying to judge anyone personally, and I'm sorry if it came off that way. The way people react to these sorts of statements is pretty predictable. People want to cling to their ideas, so personal attacks are, indeed, inevitable.

I've had a lot of interesting experiences that people would (and have) attribute to my having psychic powers, but, I'd prefer to gain many points of view and not just assume that such things exist.

And saying that Psychic powers don't exist seems to have gotten people to respond, at least. No particularly compelling arguments either way.
