I wasn't saying you said that...sheesh...calm down. I said "someone" not "you". I was calling light bread out on him making no sense...and I had noticed in previous threads that you two were having side discussions...and then HE said to get this thread back on track, simply because Lodui said something he didn't like...that's hypocritical. I don't have anything against anyone...I don't care about people enough in here to like them or dislike them...Like I said, I call them like I see them.
it's about time this gets back to where it belongs. (notice i didn't say "on topic," Annie??) I still think I like both spots, it's just so hard to choose between the two. i will probably end up going to one, then the other a year or two later...
please don't tell me to "calm down," and then say you have nothing against me. And as far as side discussions, again I was not the one that envoked the thread going off-topic, but do you expect us to start a brand new thread every time someone has an original idea??
Eh, I've never really liked Florida, but I'm sure there are some nicer spots you could find within it too. Most of my vacations end up to being to Austin though. Not just because of geographical conveience, but it's a really intresting community. Stay away frtom Miami though. I've been there twice and hated it.
LOL do what you want...it's your thread...I'm just not going to let some hypocrite (LIGHTBREAD, not YOU, don't worry!) get away with acting a fool.
Huh? Sorry, man, what with all the bickering between bread and annie, I'm having a hard time even understanding the normal posts tonight.
Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Daytona Beach...it's all the same shit... Tourists, scumbags, and bad vibes...not to mention the poor music scene...Just depends on what DroopySnoopy likes and looks for in a community really.
well, like i said, i dig blues and live bands alot, so in that respect, Austin would be the hands down winner, but there are alot of things to consider.
Ft. Lauderdale is a tourist trap that somehow calls itself a city. I didn't like Miami, but driving thourhg Ft. Lauderdale and having to stop a few places was enouh for me. If I had to live in Ft. Lauderdale, I would honestly be a terrorist.
The problem with the entire south is as follows. Started before the civil war. The civil war was a very good thing, because it ended slavery, a depicable racist practice and a shame on the United States. But it also killed around a million people, and was sold to the Southern states as the northern states are trying to destroy our industry and subjegate us. And although Licolcn was a good man, the war was sold to the North as the south is benifiting from slavery, so we must ban it. It was never sold as a human rights issue. Consequesntly, the southern states lost. It was certainly worth it to ban slavery. On the minus side, the southern states were fucked over in many economic issues aside from the slave trade. So every southern states now has very limited government. It was sold to the people by the affluent class as a way to limit government regulations which would hurt the state. What most of these reforms were in fact, were loose regulations which allowed the oil and railroad tycoons to pillage southern states, and now they are still feeling the disparity of such today.
How come the south can never be mentioned without the civi war being brought up thats weird. anyway if anyone THINKS that ended slavery they are out of their mind. We're all slaves. With the way things look we're always going to be slaves no matter what state we are in.
So Southern states are afraid of any social programs to benifit the population as a whole because of this, and almost all the south is fucked due to this.
