I have 3000+ texts per month which I thought was a lot, then I got my 15yr old brother a cell and he has 20-30K texts a month! its complete insanity!

I have used a text message for my kids at school as they can not have their phones on then. It usually involves a change of plan, like don't get on the bus, I am picking you up. It does not happen very often, so probably I would text them maybe once a month on average if that. Otherwise, I do not text. I actually rarely even use my cell phone.
